Ganyu held the vile in the palm of her hand, thinking of what she has to do next.

She needed to seek the Adepti for a solution. So that's exactly what she did, she gave the vile to one of the staff members instructing that if Aether begins to heat up to give him the vile.

She watched as the traveler silently suffered. Unaware of what to do.

"Rex Lapis?"
Ganyu knocked on the door to Zhongli's office.
Zhongli looked up to see Ganyu anxiously awaiting an answer.

"It's Zhongli now, and is there anything bothering you?"
Ganyu stepped into the room, closing the door behind her.

"The traveler has fallen ill, karmic energy has surrounded his person.
I was told to seek out someone who knows about the karmic energy of Adepti. Please help me, Rex- Zhongli."

Zhongli got up from his desk and proceeded to leave the room, "Mind bringing me to the traveler?"

Ganyu nodded, guiding Zhongli to the guesthouse.

Zhongli examined the traveler.
He noted that a unsafe aura surrounded the traveler. Rigid breathing, rising fever, and more.

"Karmic energy needs a place to recharge, taking over someone's body who is vulnerable."
Zhongli explained.

"Is there an antidote?"
Ganyu asked.

Zhongli looked back at the boy clinging onto life.

"There is an antidote, however, the antidote is hard to come by."
Zhongli sat himself down on a nearby chair, signaling for Ganyu to do the same.

Zhongli continued, "The first is in the deeps of the land of salt. Second, is in Guyun stone forest. Third, is near the border of the living and the dead."

Ganyu held a worried look, which Zhongli had noticed.

"Adeptus Xiao we need your assistance."
Zhongli called.

Ganyu's eyes widened.
"Xiao doesn't know you are the ex-archon, will he assist?"
Ganyu asked.

Zhongli shakes his head, getting up.
"Explain the traveler's illness, he will assist then."

Ganyu silently nodded, Zhongli quickly exited the room.

A couple moments later Xiao had appeared.

"What do you want?"
Xiao asked, a bit sassy.

Ganyu looked towards the bed, making Xiao follow her eyes.

Xiao's jaw dropped, the traveler was slowly being consumed by bad karma.
A karma he's been fighting all his life.
A karma he believes he have to the traveler.

"We need to find an antidote!"
Ganyu interrupted.

Xiao swallowed his guilt for the time-being.
