Seokjin

We couldn't stop laughing, they were soaking wet and started to undress on the porch, I told Josie to go shower first and I would get her clothes ready for her and lay them on my bed, then Arlo went next, and Taehyung was the last to take a shower. He came out of my room in a pair of my lounge pants and a tank top, and oh my did my heart start to race, I felt my cheeks get warm and I had a hard time looking away. We heard the rain hitting the roof hard and settled on the couch to watch movies and eat popcorn, after the first movie both kids fell asleep, so Tae and I moved them to the guest room. I then asked him if he wanted to sit on the swing and watch the rain, we were quiet for a couple minutes, then Tae breaks the silence, "Jin, do you believe in destiny." I shrug, "Yea I guess, I'm sure it happens", I say.

"Would you think me crazy if I told you that I think our meeting is destiny, and I don't mean the accident, I mean everything afterward", he says taking my hand. "Seokjin I think we were destined to meet and I think its my dead wife who is bringing us together." I look at him questionably, "what makes you think that Taehyung." "Josie had a dream yesterday about her mom, saying that she was sad because I was lonely, and that the kids should take me camping to my favorite place, here Seokjin", he says. "My father used to bring me here when I was younger, he knew your Grandparents, this was my favorite place in the whole wide world, and to think you might have been here when I was", he says smiling. I was Taehyung, a few times I saw you down by the water with your father", I say.

Taehyung

All of a sudden the rain stopped and the sun poked thru the clouds, I stood up and looked up at the sky, "it is you, isn't it Rosie", I smile. I look at Jin and he looks so beautiful with the sun hitting his face, "Look Taehyung", he says pointing to the sky. I turn to see the most beautiful rainbow, I took a picture with my phone because I knew this was the beginning of something wonderful. I walked over to him and made him stand, I held him, I held him so tight and for the first time in a long time I felt complete, I felt whole, my heart is actually beating for someone and not just because its supposed to.

"Jin lets sit, I want to talk to you", I say guiding him back to the swing. "Rosie was my wife, Rosemarie was her full name, our parents were friends and after Rosie got pregnant with Arlo, the father ran. Rosemarie's father asked my father if I would marry her to make an honest woman of her, you know because image is important to rich people, I agreed but I didn't love her like a husband should love a wife, when she got the kids father to sign over his parental rights she asked if I would adopt them in case something ever happened to her they wouldn't go to her parents or into the system.

We really did try to fall in love, but it just wasn't there, I'm just not very fond of females and she knew that, and she accepted that but we acted like a family for the kids. She wasn't very hands on, she didn't sit and play with them or talk to them about their day and I was always at work, dont get me wrong she was a good mom, but I dont think it was something she really wanted for herself", I say. "They are very sweet children, she was very lucky", Jin says playing with his fingers. "They are, but that didn't stop her from drinking, and it was getting worse", I say sadly. "Why are you telling me this Taehyung", Jin asks curiously.

I turn to look at him and laugh, "I dont know really, I felt like I had to tell you that I have never really been in love before, and I was curious what you felt about me", I ask looking into his eyes. "Seokjin, most people would frown at the idea that a widower would be trying to get to know someone just after burying a spouse, but I wanted you to know that our relationship wasn't based on love, and I honestly think that Rosie is the reason I am sitting here in front of you right now", I say holding his hand.

I dont know what to think, I am very attracted to Taehyung and I do feel a pull toward him, but I still have some guilt, and the kids, they will hate me for taking their mommy away. "Daddy, Jinnie-Oppa, we are hungry", I turn to see Jo-Jo standing by the screen door. "Lets go make some lunch", I stand up and take her hand, "how was your nap." "It was good, I had very good dreams", she says rubbing her eyes. "You did, what kind of dreams", Taehyung asks. "Mommy is happy that you found Jinnie Oppa, daddy", she says smiling. "She is, she wanted me to find Jinnie-Oppa", I ask. "Yes Daddy, that's why we came camping", she says. I look at Taehyung and he is speechless, he looks into my eyes and smiles the biggest smile. I place a cup of milk in front of her and a minute later Arlo sat next to her yawning, "Hi big man, you hungry", I ask. He nods his head. I give him milk too and start making their lunch. "How about daddy, is he hungry", I ask kind of playful. He smiles so big and wants to walk toward me, but stops himself as he looks at the kids. "Yes, very hungry", he says.

I made the kids grill cheese sandwiches and French fries, Taehyung and I had fried rice, we sat and talked about the kids school and what Taehyung does for work, I asked Jo-Jo if she wanted to bake brownies with me and she excitedly said yes. "Arlo we can watch a movie if you want", Taehyung asks him. "Why dont you go down to the campsite and get your stuff, you guys can stay here the rest of your trip, if you want", I say cleaning up Arlo's greasy fingers, "you can hang the tents over the fence out back to dry." "Are you sure Seokjin, you dont mind us staying here", he asks with hope in his eyes and I cant help but to giggle at how adorable he is. I nod, "of course I am sure, I love you all being here, besides I need a baking buddy", I say ruffling Jo-Jo's hair. She squeals happily. "Seokjin, I... ", Taehyung says with tears in his eyes, I approach him and hug him. "Its okay to cry Tae Tae, its okay."
