Taehyung

About an hour after we got back to our house from dropping Jin off we heard a knock at the door, when I opened it there stood my in-laws and my parents. "Where have you been, we have been worried sick about you and the kids", my father says pushing his way thru the door. "I texted you all and told you the kids and I were going camping, we just stayed longer than we planned", I said.

The kids ran in and hugged their grandparents telling them about camping and about meeting Jin. "Daddy did you tell Halmeoni and Halabeoji that we are moving into a new house so that Jinnie-Hyung can live with us", Arlo says. Shit, I wasn't thinking about him saying anything in front of the grandparents. "What's this now", my mother in law says. "Jinnie-Oppa is going to be our new Appa", Josie says. To say that the parents were stunned is an understatement, "who are the children talking about Taehyung", my mother asks. "Kim Seokjin, we met him at the lake and we want to be together", I say keeping my voice strong. "Seokjin, that isn't the same boy who was in the accident with Rosie is it", My father asked. "Yes father, the same", I say, "kids why don't you go play in your room, I'll come get you when dinner is ready." 

They stood to go and then my mother in law opened her big mouth, "I forbid you to bring that boy who killed my daughter around my grandchildren, do you hear me Taehyung", she says. In an instant Arlo is standing next to me, "NO HALMEONI, Jin-Hyung is the greatest person we have ever met, he is kind and loving and he makes me fluffer nutters and plays games with us, he calls me his big man and he reads to me, Jinnie- Hyung will be my Appa I don't care what you say", Arlo says sobbing, "Daddy tell them, please tell them that they can't keep Jin-Hyung from us, please", he begs. I hold him to me allowing him to cry into my chest, Josie comes over and hugs us both.

 "I'm sorry Halmeoni that Arlo raised his voice to you, but he's right Jinnie-Oppa will be our new Appa, he loves us and he loves daddy, more than anyone", she says crying holding her brother. "Mom, dad, Mr. and Mrs. Kwon, I'm sorry and I dont mean to be disrespectful, but the kids are right, Seokjin will be part of our family, we love him and he loves us, Rosie was my friend and she is gone now, but part of me feels that she brought Seokjin and I together, I will miss her but her and I were never husband and wife, she chose to drive intoxicated that day and she caused the accident that took her life, not Jin", I say taking a minute to make sure the kids are okay. "She never wanted our marriage, she did it to make you happy, she wasn't happy and I think  she may have been ill and didn't tell me, which is probably why she started drinking", I say rubbing Arlo's back. 

"If you bring that boy around my grandchildren, I will take them from you, you have no right to them anyway", my mother in law threatens. "Then call your lawyers because Seokjin will be living with me and my children", I say back in a hard voice. She gasps, holding her chest, "how dare you, lets go", she pulls my father in law up, "this is not over, expect a fight." "I welcome it", I say. They stormed out slamming the door, "son I hope you know what you are doing", my father says, "you are more than welcome to use Charles if you need a lawyer." "Thank you father, I am not worried about anything, if I need to consult I will call Charles, but I have a lawyer in mind already", I say kissing the kids and telling them to go wash up, that we will take Halmeoni and Halabeoji out to dinner.

Seokjin

The next morning Taehyung called me telling me to be ready, after he drops the kids off he has some houses for us to see, I am excited as I get ready, but I am also still thinking about what my parents said, is it just he's still mourning and using me to fill that void, or are we truly destined. Rosie did talk to me in my dream, so maybe my parents are wrong. I walked downstairs and they are sitting at the kitchen table, "Jinnie, we were waiting for you to come down, please sit, there is coffee if you want some", my father says. 

"We want to apologize to you for yesterday, it was just a shock to us that you some how met up with Mr. Kim out in the middle of no where, but we apologize for the things we said, anyone who falls in love with you is so very lucky, and we support you whatever you decide to do, but we would like to meet him again under different circumstances, maybe you all can come for dinner one night", my mother said. "Ill let him know, thank you guys", I hugged them both. "We are just glad you are home, and that you are feeling better", my father says. 

Tae texted that he was outside, and was waiting for me outside the car. I ran to him and threw myself into his arms, "I missed you last night", he said against my lips. I giggled, "I missed you too, I wanted to text you, but I knew you had to get the kids settled, plus my parents felt the need to lecture me about you, and I wont lie they did make me doubt us, but then I remembered everything Rosie said in my dream, and I remembered everything you told me about not living as husband and wife, so the doubt is gone", I say holding him tighter. "I'm glad its gone, please don't ever doubt how I feel about you,  lets go find you a new house love", he says lifting me and kissing me again.
