CHAMBERS OF THE LAW
This part of the castle was where the adviser, the king's General, and the king and queen would have a meeting mainly about the declaration of wars or if any rules and laws were needed to be made or changed.
Aries was sitting on the throne as his adviser—a teenage boy from the Dragon tribe—and his new General—a teenage boy from the Lion tribe.
Both teenagers were still young, but Aries had handpicked Nagase due to his bravery during the last battle.
Nagase: My liege, I think of the Council of the Guardians as well, but since there will be new Guardians, the previous Guardians should be addressed as the elder Guardians...
Aries: Fair point. What do you think, Len?
Len was a black-haired boy with red threads in this hair and long eyelashes but tall enough.
Len: I agree with Nagase as well.
Aries: So be it. I'm also going to forbid forceful unions among the tribes.
Aries remembered his promise to Cancer back on planet Earth. Nagase and Len kept quiet.
Aries: Let's hear your opinions.
Nagase: Forceful unions or arranged unions have been part of our home traditions for many centuries.
Len: One of the easiest, quickest, and most effective ways to make two tribes bind and become allies.
Aries: I don't like it.
Len and Nagase looked at Aries.
Aries: Those unions strain the childhoods of many offspring born out of those unions and torture and traumatize them.
Nagase: I see.
Len: Not many tribes will agree with you on this one.
Aries kept quiet. A Guard went in, holding a letter as he gave it to Aries.
Aries read the letter and looked at Len and Nagase, worried.
Len: What is it?
Aries: Len, find me the best spies, ten of them, and send them to me.
Nagase: Tell me. I want to help you.
Aries looked at Nagase.
Aries: I trust you both with my very existence, but if I tell you what is in this letter, I'll endanger your existence and the existence of our home.
Nagase and Len looked at each other, worried and confused.
Aries: The rest of the laws will be done later. You're excused.
