DELANO POV

Despite how Bria feels of mr extending myself to help Gia... I can't just let her take the bus to work.

Waiting downstairs in the parking lot for Gia to come on so we can go. Minutes later I looked up to see Gia walking quickly with Ryan running behind her.

A small smile crept on my face just seeing this in front of me. Gia opened the back door as Ryan got in "hello Delano".

I waved through the rear view mirror. Gia got in "sorry! Last minute changes. Ryan will be with me today".

"Not a problem" I said.

She smiled "thank you for understanding!". We reached the job. Gia walked Ryan to my office and sat him down "listen you will stay in here unless you need something. Delano will be here as well. Don't bother him".

"I don't bother people!" Ryan said.

Gia raised her brow "if you say so... Delano thank you again. I owe you one". She walked out leaving just Ryan and I. He sat there just playing his handheld.

Once that died he started getting fidgety. He got up and walked around. Picking up a picture frame "who's this!".

"That is my girlfriend" I answered.

"Oh, she looks familiar" he said.

"That's because it's Bria" I said.

He put the frame back "I don't know her".

I saw that uncomfortable expression on his face. Ryan looked like Gia but you saw the mixture in there.

Around lunch time I figured why not take Ryan and Gia out to lunch. Poor kid has been trapped with me most of the day.

"Delano you didn't have to do this.." Gia said.

I shrugged "I felt bad for Ryan".

We both glanced at Ryan who was in his glory. He's playing his handheld and knowing food was near... he was content.

BRIA POV

Running errands around town. Since I don't work. I rather be the trophy wife. Stay home and just live the rich life. I thought about surprising Delano with lunch but with all I had to do today... my time was precious.

Walking quickly to the post office. Maybe these heels weren't the best choice. When I passed the diner I thought I saw something. Backing up I saw Delano, Gia and that bastard child!.

One thing I hate is being played. Delano was playing with me.

Gia knows better than to embarrass me!.  I felt the blood rush to my head. That's how furious I was. Charging in there "what the hell is this?". Delano stood up fast "hey baby!". Pushing him away "don't hey baby me! What the fuck is going on here?!".

"There's a child here" Gia said.

"The question is... why are you here?!" I asked.

Delano grabbed my arm "I took them out for lunch only because Ryan here was trapped in my office".

"Say what?! You guys are playing family at the job too?! Delano do you not see what's happening here?! Gia is trying to use Ryan to get you. Wake up!" I said.

Gia laughed "she's more delusional than I thought".

Flipping my hair "am I wrong?".

She nodded "wrong and crazy. Someone sounds jealous".

"Me? Jealous? Of who, you?! Never!" I said.

Gia smiled "we are going... this isn't a scenery I want my child to witness". I waved "good riddance! No one wants you here anyway! Just like his dad didn't want you".

Delano grabbed me "are you crazy? Why do you do things like this?!".

"Me? I'm trying to protect what's mine so an man eater won't come and take it. You should be thanking me!" I said.

The manger approached us "I will need you both to leave". I sighed "not a problem!. Come on Delano let's go".

He shook his head "unlike you I have to get back to work". I'm not sure where this new found attitude came from. But he's never spoken to me like this.

Standing there looking a little embarrassed. I got my things and stormed out the door. Delano had already left. I wasn't done with this. Gia will pay if I lose Delano. I never lose!
