DELANO POV
The dinner party was actually nice. Bria behaved herself too. When she's happy and in her self... that's the Bria I like. But when she's mean and disrespectful... I can't.
Making a phone call I noticed a commotion going on outside. Looking through the blinds I saw Gia and a guy talking. But it looked intense. She didn't seem happy he was there. A lot of hand movements.
That's when I saw him grab her arm and pull her towards him. Seeing pain on Gia's face made me get up.
Walking over to them "what the hell is going on here?". The guy rolled his eyes "mind your business this is between Gia and I".
Gia blinked at me a few times "can you just leave me alone, Aiden!".
"As you can see Gia doesn't want you here so take your hands off of her or I will call the cops" I warned. He let her go "this isn't over! I will see my son".
Gia stood there rubbing her arm "over my dead body!".
He smiled "i can make that happen".
"Get out of here now!" I said. He shook his head and walked off. Turning to Gia "are you okay? He didn't hurt you, right?".
She nodded "I'm fine".
I knew she was lying. She looked shaken up. But I didn't want to press her anymore on the situation.
"I have to use the bathroom. But thank you for coming over here" she said. Watching her walk off quickly I knew she was going to cry. I felt bad.

Since her car wouldn't be ready until tomorrow... I decided to give her one last ride home. But the vibe felt different. Gia was quiet and in a daze.
"How's Ryan?" I asked.
"He's okay" she answered.
"That's good!" I said.
"Yup" she said.
I wasn't sure if I should even ask about the event that happened earlier. Maybe she will close herself more off. But I wanted to know. Sometimes talking about something will make you feel better.
"If you don't mind me asking... that was Ryan's father?" I asked.
She nodded "yeah he used to work for you".
"Really? I didn't even recognize him" I said.
She sat there "this whole time. The whole six years he hasn't cared to contact me about Ryan. His birthday came and went and nothing. And now out of nowhere you want to impose yourself to see him?. I don't want my son around him. He's not a good person. As you saw".
"What made you... I mean... you guys getting together?" I asked.
Stopping the car in front of her complex "thanks for the ride". She got out and walked looking around before going upstairs. There's something she's not telling me.

BRIA POV
Life couldn't be good.
I have mans full attention with no distractions. Aiden came into town last night and he paid Gia a nice visit at work today. Hopefully he ruffled some feathers. Gia was scared of him.
Delano walked through the door "hey baby! How was work?!".
He walked over to me placing a small kiss on my lips "work was interesting".
"Why?" I asked.
"Well things were good until Gia and some guy who I found out is Ryan's dad were arguing. He got a little touchy so I stepped in. For one you don't put your hand on a female. I chased him out of there" he said.
"Why would you intervene in her drama? Had nothing to do with you. Sometimes it's better to mind your business" I said.
"Can't do that! Gia was in distress and if I didn't step in who knows what else he would've done" he said.
My anger was slowly rising. "Can you stop trying to help Gia! She's an adult. At this point I know she can handle her own situations".
"Bria I get you don't like her but she works for me. Something happens to her on my watch she can easily sue me. Then you will be living with the poor people who despise so much".
Dammit I'll have to tell Aiden to see Gia at her home that way no distractions!
