GIA POV

Waking up in a hospital bed alone is the worst feeling. I was confused and worried about my son. Trying not to panic I waited for a nurse to come in here to ask questions.

This pregnancy is a little different than the first. With Ryan I didn't have these issues. Last thing I remember after Ryan ate I cleaned up. Feeling a little dizzy I sat down for a bit. That's when I went to take a shower so I went into my room and that's the last thing I remember.

A nurse walked in and I jumped up "excuse me where's my son?!".

"Oh the little boy with the game?" She asked.

I nodded.

"A guy name Delano had his sister come and take him" she said.

I laid back down once she said that. Feeling some sort of relief... at least Ryan is in safe hands.

"Is this Delano the father of this baby?" She asked.

"Whoa nosey much" I said.

She smiled "I'm just asking cause he claims he's your boyfriend but when I mentioned the pregnancy he didn't even know about it".

"Well I was going to tell him myself but thank you for telling him for me" I said.

"Just doing my job. Back to the pregnancy. Your blood pressure dropped really low causing you to faint. This is a common thing within the first trimester. For you, you'll have to be careful" she said.

"When can I leave?" I asked.

"I believe today but once the doctor comes in here then he will examine you and then discharge you" she said.

Great.

Trying to really think of a way to leave early so that way I could go make sure Gia is okay. Also check on Ryan as well. Bria came over smiling at me. "What?".

"You know what?" She said.

"Not registering" I said.

She leaned over more "well I say we bless this room to the Max". Her hands went down to my thighs. This wasn't the time. She came over and went down unzipping my pants. Pushing her off of me "this isn't the best time". Throwing her hands in the air "why?".

"Because I have too much on my mind" I said.

"Dammit Delano! It's always something!"
She whined.

"Nothing I can do about it. Things are getting crazy at the job. I may have to fly back tonight" I said.

She gasped "are you fucking serious?!".

I nodded.

"Wow it sounds like this company is coming in between us as a couple. We can't even relax on a vacation without some interruption from work. Like come Delano! I want to spend time with my boyfriend!" She ranted.

As she was going on and on I booked my ticket back home. No offense to Bria but I needed to see Gia. We had a lot to discuss!

I explained to Bria's parents that I had to leave. Her father understood meanwhile her mother was suspicious. At this point I didn't care. I was able to cut this damn trip short.

Finally arriving back in Arizona I wasted no time going to go see Gia. Emmalee would bring Ryan back here to me. Walking in I saw her packing up to leave.

"They discharged you?" I asked.

She jumped "Jesus Delano! Wait? Isn't it early for you to be back?".

I nodded "yeah I couldn't wait to see you".

She smiled "Aww you missed me?".

Walking up to her and just staring at her "I did".

She smirked "and Bria didn't mind?".

"Well I made up a lie on why I had to leave" I said.

She nodded "thought so".

"How are you getting home?" I asked.

"A cab" she said.

"I'll take you. My sister is meeting us here to drop off Ryan" I said.

"I miss my baby!" She said.

The word baby reminded me of what we had to speak about. The nurse came in with her discharge papers "Gia please make an appointment to see our obgyn as soon as possible".

"Ok" Gia said.

The nurse winked at me and left.

"So a baby?" I asked.

She nodded "a whole baby".

I smiled pulling her to me kissing her passionately. Missing her plump soft lips. We were so into our world we didn't even hear when my sister walked in with Ryan.

"Holy shit!" Emmalee said.

"Ooo you said a bad word" Ryan said.

We froze.
