Ajey's P.O.V

Today is the day.

Today, I'm gonna do the most extreme thing of my life.

Today, I'm gonna propose her.

Yes, I know we're married but she had this wish on her wishlist and I can fulfill it, so why not?

If someone would've told me that I will propose someone, five months ago, I wouldn't have believed a bit if it.

But she's not someone. In the past five months, she has taken over my heart and my soul. She's mine.

And here I am, stressing about all the preparations. Whether everything's set or not, everything is accepting to me plan or not, it's so tiring but I know it's gonna be worth it.

Right now, I'm selecting an outfit for myself for tonight.

When I told my wife that we're going out today, she immediately agreed. Since we've landed in Goa, we spend most of our time at the beach because they're peaceful.

Anyways, right now I'm super confused. I was searching my wardrobe until my eyes landed in this one tux that I had.

I wore a plain white shirt and over it, I wore a emerald green coloured blazer along with the same coloured pants.

Saying that I was nervous would be an understatement.

I went out and realized that she was already there.

She also wore emerald green, it was gown with a slit by her left leg, her hair were left open and she parolees the gown with some nude heels.

Gorgeous.

“You look so handsome.” She complemented me and came closer as she wrapped her arms around my torso.

“And you look so fucking tempting.” I said in a deep husky voice and planted a kiss on her forehead to which she blushed.

“You ready to go?” I asked.

“Totally!” She answered enthusiastically and I smiled.

We headed out walked till the beach as it was just a few steps away.

There was a table for two, in the center and it was surrounded by fairy lights. The sound of waves and wind rushing by, made the atmosphere perfect.

We sat down and started eating after she praised the while setup.

“You're so cute.” She said while eating to which I smiled widely.

“Okay, do you remember what's day after tomorrow?” She asked me.

Of course I do, baby.

I pretended to think because she doesn't know what's in store for her.

“Umm...no.” I lied, hiding a smile. Her face fell and she looked sad. Without answering she continued eating.

“Let's go.” She said as she finished her food.

Still angry.

“Mind a walk?” I asked her as I forwarded my hands towards her and she accepted and nodded her head, slightly.

We started walking, the wind was flowing which made her look even more beautiful.

“Look what's that!” I said pointing towards the sky and she turned her head towards it.

In the meantime, I went down on my knees and held both if her hands.

“There's noth--” She stopped in between of her sentence as soon as she turned her head towards me and realized what position I'm in.

Both of her hands made their way to her mouth and she stood there, surprised.

“I know we didn't get the start that we wanted but we can always make the journey better. You have affected me in ways, I didn't knew existed.

When, I saw you at out wedding day walking down the aisle, looking so pretty. That was the moment, I knew that you'll make me a better person. You'll be the missing peice in my puzzle of life.

I can't even imagine my life without you in it. You and I are mean to be, forever.

You have brought out the sides if me that I, myself, wasn't aware of. I love you, baby.” I paused and took out a blue, velvet box from my pocket and opened it.

“Will you marry me?” There, I said it. I said those four words and waited for her reaction.

“Yes.” She said and I slides the ring on her ring finger.

Then, she bent down to my level and gave me a bone crushing hug, I hugged her back.

“I love you.” She said.

“I love you too.”

“And by the way, I remember what's day after tomorrow. I was messing with you earlier. How can I forget that day after tomorrow, we will complete six months of our wedding, baby.” I confessed.

“I knew it! I knew it. I love you so much.”
