3rd person POV:

This tournament has quickly escalated into what it was always supposed to be according to tradition.

That being a battle between siblings.

The minor arcana were all glued to their seats, and the heirs' human guests watched with worry and great interest, for this battle might be the last battle if taken too far.

Dianna and Charles immediately used their power-ups and left their little brother to face their minor arcana.

So as the Ruby overlord faced Grim and Violet, with Raven, the eldest siblings viciously fought it out.

With curved blades growing out of his body, Charles with his scythe hand, swung down at the Emerald armored Dianna who raised her arm and hit Charles's forearm, stopping the blade from hitting her.

From there, the two siblings pushed against one another, trying to overpower the other.

But they were in a clean deadlock. The only thing that gave in was the ground beneath them.

Dianna was surprised at this. She had no idea what Charles was using or where he received it, but it was keeping up with her armored state.

Charles: Grr...

Dianna: Growling? I always knew you'd make a good dog.

With her augmented priestess power, Dianna sent a hurricane on drugs level of wind at Charles who was pushed back.

Growing blades out of his feet, Charles hooked himself in the ground, stopping him from being pushed too far back.

Maja:(mind) Charles... Dianna... What happened while I was asleep?

(Emerald vs Sapphire theme)

Several blades grew out of the ground at an alarming rate near Dianna's feet.

Leaping back, only to have a forest of blades grow out behind her, Dianna performed a spinning roundhouse kick in the air, which sent raging winds that slashed down the scythe forest and sent the shards towards Charles.

Whilst he leaped high into the air, Dianna took out the Moon card, which she lowers it to her crown.

"Summon: The Moon"

The shield of the moon was then equipped onto Dianna's arm. And just in time as Charles landed with a downward swing of a jagged bus-sized scythe.

Stretching the shield to be slightly wider, Dianna blocked the attack.

What she didn't take into account was the ground which wasn't capable of supporting the pressure, leaving Dianna stuck in the ground like a nail smacked by a hammer.

Dianna:(mind) I like getting hammered but this is a bit too literal for me...

Punching his hands into the ground, Charles lifted Dianna out of the ground with more blades. Her limbs were stuck between several blade branches.

Growing four scythe blades out of his hands, Charles once again surprises Dianna by making those blades spin, essentially turning his hand into a spinning saw.

Leaping up to his sister, he thrusts the spinning saw against her chest plate to try and break through her armor.

Dianna: Wish I could say I "saw" this coming...
