I am Luna Laufeyson, and I used to live in Asgard. I now live back on Earth under the protection of an agency called SHIELD. I am the keeper of peace between Asgard and Earth.
The tesseract was something I was familiar with so of course I was assigned to stick with Hawkeye and watch the cube. Glad I had all those reading sessions with- never mind. Anyway, Hawkeye always amused me with how sarcastic he was to the even more sarcastic Nick Fury. Director Fury was called down on the day the tesseract had some odd energy readings. Hawkeye and I always fought with each other. "What makes you qualified to help me out?"
"What makes you?" I shot back annoyed, "With a name like Hawkeye, you must be extremely qualified!" Not my best, I admit. I noticed Director Fury come in so I pushed the bird out of my way and started heading down to see him.
"Hey! Watch it twerp."
"Out of my way lil birdy." I quickly climbed down the ladder and ran to Fury, "Fury!"
"Yes, hello Luna. What the hell is going on here?"
"The tesseract is misbehaving." Erik Selvig began
"The cube isn't a child." I interrupted
They both gave me a look, "Clint, keep your assistant quiet." I didn't realize he came up behind me. Hawkeye sighed and walked next to me. He was trying to scare me!
"You're an ass Hawkeye."
"And you're a whiny little girl."
"F off." He chuckled and led me towards the side of the cube, heading up to the nest that Hawkeye had constructed. The tesseract screeched like it was an animal being ripped inside out and a blue beam shot out. It exploded and Hawkeye stood over me, protecting me from the blast. The douche could be nice every once and awhile.
A man stood in the center of the room a few feet away from the cube where the beam had exploded. He had a large spear like scepter, ebony colored hair, and emerald green eyes.
It was the man who I promised myself I would forget.
It was Loki.
