Different
According to my mom, I and my sister, Lyanna Adeline, were totally different from each other. She has this angelic face that everyone would drool over. She's kind of funny and bubbly type of person. Unlike me, I'm the sophisticated type and sexy. Of course, I have much more admirers than her. Maybe because I look more like a mature type of woman.
"Kayo lang? Wala kayong kasamang girlfriend..ss? " I kind of emphasized that "s" para naman hindi halata na para sa isang tao lang na tanong.
"Well, I don't have a girlfriend, you see Leys." says Sandro as he leaned on his back seat and crossed his arms.
That question is not for you idiot!
"Hmm. I see. How about you Alvaro?" I faced him. He was only looking at his glass of drink with his blank face. He looks so miserable.
"I don't have one."
The guy I assume is his brother is looking at me intently. He was so quiet since kanina. Is he angry at me or what?
"Andrei, hindi mo ininvite si Selena? Yung girlfriend mo?" Sandro na patuloy lamang sa pag inom ng alak.
"She's not my girlfriend." he emphasized the word girlfriend.
So, Andrei's the name. Maybe magkapatid nga sila ni Alvaro. Hindi lang magkamukha, pareho pang suplado. He looks badtrip since I went to their table.
"Ah, Leys, how's your mom? Balita namin she's still on vacation." Achi
"Yes. She still can't move on to what happened to Lyan. Kahit ako din. Sana nakasama ko pa siya ng mas matagal. Alam nyo naman she lived with our dad while I lived with mom." Saysay ko sa kanila. I really feel bad about it. I loved my sister so much. It's only that nagkalayo kami simula tumungtong kami ng high school. And I will never forgive the person who lead to her death. The person beside me.
" Mukhang hindi lang siya ang hindi maka move on." singit ni Andrei habang umiinom at tumitingin kay Alvaro.
"Yeah! Until now, namimiss ko siya. Mahal na mahal namin ang isa't - isa ni Lyan."
Ayokong magkaroon ng tension dito sa table namin kaya sumingit na ako agad.
"Kaya nga ako umuwi galing America para ako na ang magpatakbo ng business na naiwan ni Dad at Lyan. I'm here to replace her. Well, atleast."
"She can never be replaced."
I can see Alvaro's almost hurt eyes and expression. Mukhang napindot ko agad ang hindi dapat mapindot.
"Yeah, I know ibang-iba nga kami ni Lyan. But, I'm trying to replace her position in the company. Wala na din naman kasing ibang magmamana kundi ako din balang-araw."
Andrei's smirking is everywhere. At mukhang awkward na din ang mukha ni Sandro at Achi. They can sense Alvaro's rage almost boiling.
" Hey, you cool? "I tapped Alvaro's thigh to see if he's okay right now.
I was so shocked, he faced me with his longing eyes and so much affection.
Mukhang magiging madali ang trabaho ko!
" Are you okay? Mukhang pagod ka." I tapped his shoulders just now
Umiwas siya ng tingin sa akin na parang hirap na hirap na siya "I'm fine. Pagod lang."
Andrei on the other hand is looking at me right now like he's about to kill me at this moment.
Now is not the right time for too much drama. So I decided to leave.
"Ahm, I think I gotta go guys. My friend is waiting for me. Baka hinahanap na ako." I finally said my good bye at inisa isa ko silang tiningnan upang magpaalam.
"See you around Leys!" Sandro
Achi just smiled at me. But, Alvaro is still looking down in his glass. And Andrei looking at me still.
Finally came back to our table and I saw no one there. I check on the dance floor at nagsasayaw na pala ang dalawa. I take my seat and continue drinking my drink.
Kailangan ko nang masimulan ang plano namin ni Mom sa lalong madaling panahon. And this is the right time, lalo na't may partnership kami in business.
We went home because I told Chinee that I'm so tired already. Tired of my own thoughts. Pina patay ko ng paulit-ulit si Alvaro sa aking isipan.
