After work, I decided to go to the gym para ituloy ang plano kong naudlot dahil kay Chinee.
Wearing my racer back shirt and leggings, I went to the gym a few blocks away my condo unit. This is one of my stress relievers cause you know, I like my body to stay fit and firm. Mom said it's ONE of girl's assets.
I started with my proper warm ups first and then started jogging in the treadmill. I put on my airpods to listen to some music.
Muntik na akong matumba nang sumulpot sa tabi ko ang isang lalaki. I rolled eyes in my mind. I really hate his aura.
"Sandro, hi!" I removed my airpods to listen to what he's about to say.
He smiled back at me. "Dito ka din pala nag gy-gym?"
"Yeah. I always come here when I'm free." Bumaba muna ako sa treadmill at hindi ako makapag focus habang kausap siya. I immediately went to do weights and started carrying the small one.
"Ba't ngayon lang kita nakita dito? Palagi din kaming nandito. Alvaro's condo is just somewhere" his eyes went to someone familiar.
Andrei, doing some weights too on the other side and is so serious on what he's doing.
I immediately faced Sandro "Kayong dalawa lang?"
"Yep! Minsan kasama din si Alvaro at Achi pero mukhang parehong may date ang dalawa ngayon." he laughed with that
"Oh, so may dine date pala si Alvaro?" he almost lost his cool with my question
He got his happy face back, "Alam mo naman, hindi nawawalan ng girls si Alvaro. Women loves him." umiling-iling siya
"Yeah, boys." I rolled my eyes and showed him my laugh.
I took some bath and changed my clothes. I stopped by the bench to arrange my things when someone just sit next to me.
Looking something in his bag, is Andrei. Mukhang kakatapos din niya magbihis. I smiled at him when he recognized it was me.
"What do you think you're doing?" he said that with almost no humor
I faced him with my confused look vut still smiling "What?" pretending not to know what he means.
"Stop what you are doing right now or ako ang makakalaban mo."
"I'm not doing anything, you see." showing him my sides as if I'm an innocent human being and not doing anything here in my seat.
Tumuwid siya ng upo not facing me but facing front "My brother had too much misery in the last two years. Wag ka nang dumagdag pa." may diin niyang pagkakasabi. "Stop provoking him. Hindi dahil magkamukha kayo ni Lyanna ay papansinin ka din ni Kuya." This kid got a mouth, huh. "Hindi ikaw si Lyanna kaya layuan mo si Kuya." He said with finality.
Looking very confused "Wala naman akong ginagawa sa kuya mo, Andrei. I just want us to be friends, for business. That's it!"
"Ibang-iba kayo ni Lyanna. Kuya won't fall for you."
I looked into his eyes while smiling. "Well, let's just see about that." I put my back on my shoulders and left hime there."
That boy got some attitude in him huh.
"No one can stop me. Definitely not you, Andrei." I smirked.
It's Saturday and I received a call from mom early in the morning.
"Mom?" I have just opened my eyes. I'm still so sleepy.
"I'm back in Manila, Lysan. Let's meet later." mom said that like she's in a hurry. Maybe kadadating lang niya talaga She didn't tell me she's coming home today from her vacation.
I answered her sleepily "Okay mom. I'll come home later." and I ended the call.
I drove to our house in Quezon after lunch to meet my mom.
Our house is two-storey at kami lang naman ni Mommy ang nakatira. Dad and Lyan lived in Makati but Lyan decided to sell it kasi siya na lang din naman mag-isa. She lived in a condo unit para malapit sa company.
"Where's Mom?" I asked our helper Manang Marites while she's watering the plants outside.
Bumaling sa akin si Manang, at itinuro and terrace kung asan si Mommy. Tumingala ako at nakita ko siyang umiinom ng wine na malayo ang tingin.
Umakyat ako sa taas at nakita ko siyang bumaling sa akin nang maramdaman niya ang aking presensiya.
"Lysan. How's the company?" tanong ni Mommy at nilapag niya ang kaniyang wine sa lamesa sa aming terrace.
I put my bag on the chair beside hers. "All in place Mom. You didn't tell me agad na babalik ka na pala."
"Not in the company. Ikaw na muna ang bahala doon. I'm here for some other business."
Kumunot ang noo ko doon sa sinabi niya. Other business? Maybe her thermage or face lift to her doctor. Mukha ngang stressed siya at andami na niyang wrinkles.
" By the way, I was invited in this auction sale for the foundation. Ang half proceeds daw nito ay ibibigay sa isang foundation na nangangalaga ng mga bata. I want you to come for me."
"When will that be?"
"Next week. The MonteSori always attends that event so, you know what to do." Mom said with finality and authority.
I agreed with Mom and after that we had our dinner and I went home to Makati.
Three days before the event, I decided to go shop for my dress. I don't have time para magpacostumize, bibili na lang akonng ready made na. I went to this shop that sells signatured dresses and I immediately went for Chanel.
I saw this one dress, silver one sided dress. It looks fabulous and glamorous.
When I was about to touch it, a woman suddenly touched it too. I looked at her. She's as tall as me, fair, and pretty. She's kind of chinita.
I smiled "Do you like it too? But I saw it first"
She smiled back at me "I touched it first, miss." she immediately called for the saleswoman and asked if she could fit it right now!
"That's size 5, I bet that won't do."
She faced me with a fury look. I left her in that state. I'm just stating a fact. And it does not suit her in the first place.
