CHAPTER-3 BEAR AND HAWK

At noon Kai and Tony went to the training ground of the academy for the scholarship test, Kai was lucky to get admission before the time limit of working student's admission which is today, actually it took him much more time to arrive here than he thought as he was stuck in some trouble on his way here.

Kai actually is very confident that he can make it without any trouble after all there are not too many of his age who can reach his level.

When he reached the academy the academic ground there were already a pale complexion girl who looks to be of same age as Kai and Tony, she has a Purple dagger handing at her waist.
Tony wave hi hand toward her "hey Ria how was it, still early like always".

The girl name Ria reply "being early is better than be late, it seems like you already make a friend.

"Yes, meet Kai my roommate he is also a new working student. By the way have you mate any of our future classmates?".
"Don't be overconfident we don't know if we can even make it" Ria.

As they were talking some more students arrived. After all the students arrived there are total of 9 including Kai, which of only three are girls.

Few minutes after a tall man in his thirties came out from inside the academy, he was different from one that Kai mate in morning. This man is two meter tall and has a big muscular physics, he give an aura of like a beast.

He scanned all the students with his eyes and say "I am your instructor Bruce. Before starting the test let me tell you that today six of you will go back home. The content of this test is very simple 'Free Fight!'. Fight till the only three of you remain".

Bruce raised his right hand above his head, all the students were little flustered because they knows what Bruce is doing "Begin" Bruce shout and retreat.

As soon as he said all the students released their Martial Souls as different colors of soul rings appeared. The most eye catching of them is Kai because only he is the one with three rings while all the others only has two rings.

Kai didn't stood there to become everyone's target, he flam his white wings and sore upward. But as soon as he do so he notice that he is not the only one in this group of students who can fly!

The girl Ria with whom Tony was talking before also fly. She has dark purple wings on which purple lightning is flickers, there are also two purple soul rings around her, her Martial Soul is Purple Lightning Hawk one of the fastest bird.

She didn't fly to high instead just float above Tony who has suddenly bloomed in size especially his hands, not only his hand has increased in size but is also covered in dark brown fur as two yellow soul ring appear on him, his Martial Soul is a powerful Brown Vajra Bear.

Ria first looked at all her opponent then proceed toward a boy who is an assault system soul master with a blade like Martial Soul.

Tony also followed behind her. Suddenly the purple lightning over Ria's wings become stronger and covered her whole body and even her speed becomes very fast as she held the purple dagger in her right hand and slash at her opponent multiple times.

Her opponent was not able to guard against all her attacks as he stuck with paralysis for a moment but it was enough to over his game as Tony has already arrived before him, Tony whose body is emmiting golden light wave swing his right hand which is practically a claw and sent the boy flying.

Before they follow up with any more attacks Bruce has already pulled the boy out of the battlefield.

Meanwhile Kai has already chosen his opponent which is a boy with a black stave Martial Soul.

Kai placed his right hand on his storage type tool and with a flash of light a silver metal spear appeared in his grasp, and swing it in the air as three feet long wing slash is released and went for the boy.

But the stave boy didn't flinch by seeing Kai's three rings. His stave shone with black radiance as he use it to resist but is it so easy to resist a attack from a higher level soul user than you. He got the answer as a long cut in his black stave, the cut was not deep but it is important to note that ones Martial Soul is a part of themselves if Martial Soul is damage than it have a direct effect on the user.

Kai didn't stop just after the slash, he throw his spear toward the boy. The spear fly through the air while strong wing circle around it, it is 'Wind Control'.

The boy has just resist the last attack when he saw the spear, he dodge it by jumping toward left and swing his stave. A black energy slash was also released by it 'Dark Slash'.

Kai dodge it by flying downside and went directly toward his opponent. The boy was overjoyed because close combat was his real fort but the next moment he feel a strong pulling force which pulled him out of the battle, it was Brucd.

The boy looked at Bruce "Why?" he almost shout as he asked Bruce didn't said anything and just point at Kai. Kai is now where the boy was holding the silver spear in his right hand.

The stave boy quickly realized his mistake as he gritted his teeth, when Kai was heading toward him he was not going for the frontal confrontation but for calling his spear back through wing which was pointed toward stave boy's back and can easily pierced it. It was his true move he can control things in air by Wing control, the control was better the nearer he was the object that's why he glided toward the boy.
