CHAPTER-12 EMERALD FRUIT

"Kai I chose you" Sera announced without any hesitation as he went and stood beside him.

This made all the students little surprised as they know that Sera herself is one of the strongest student in this class, she is even their class monitor but she so actively choose Kai as a leader.

Before anyone else could say anything another voice come out "Brother Kai you can't ditch me, I am also in your team" it was Tony a newly become soul fighter also submit to Kai this cause a little ruckus.

After that all three of their eyes fall on Ria who didn't said anything but just quickly walked beside Sera and nodded. This is her style, she don't talk too much but she is actually very active and hard working.

There team of four which is most probably strongest in class one formed just like that, this made other students even more hurried to form a team. In the end the other two soul fighters in the class one, of which is girl and also the stronger one in two to formed a team with two agility system soul trainees.

Other five teams are composed entirely of soul trainees. Naina gives the forms to the leaders of every team and told them how to fill it.

After filling the forms all the students along with their leaders exit the class and started finding a place to become familiar with their teammates abilities and arrange a good strategy.

The place that Kai and his group chose is in front of mission department where usually only working students comes.
They don't actually need to familiarize themselves with each other's abilities as they already knows if it, what they need is to learn fighting as a team.

"Kai what should we do, we already are familiar with each other's abilities so what's next" Sera asked.

"Very simple two vs two, girls vs boys" Kai.

"Brother, don't you think it is little unfair to them" Tony.

"Do you think you are so great don't forget, I am but just a thin line away from three rings" Ria.

"Okey you guys, save your energy for the battle. Currently we might not that a place in the academy, let's go to golden wood forest we can practice in its periphery" Kai.

"Wait kids!" Just as they were about to leave, they heard Ben's voice from the mission counter and stopped. Ben beckon them to come. They all hurriedly went to mission counter.

"Greetings teacher Ben" all four.

"Good kids, I reckon that four of you might be preparing for the freshman competition" Ben.

Kai nodded "yes, we were about to go outside the academy to practice".

Ben smile "and how will you do it, by fighting between yourselves?", four of them nodded.

"I have a way better idea than that, look at this" Ben took a mission paper from the top of the mission board and gave it to Kai.

"This, is not it a level four mission?".

"Yes it is a level four mission, normally you can only take at most a mission a rank higher than yours but it is a different case if you take a mission as a team. This mission is of 18 points and require at least two level 2 students. Even though in your group only Kai is level 2 working student, it should not be a problem for four of you" Ben.

"Yes its good idea, what you guys says?" Everyone nodded on Kai's question.

"But what is the mission" Ria.

"We need to harvest 10 emerald green peaches" Kai.

"But what is do with our practice?" Tony.

"Of course it do, you know these fruits can't be grow by us humans up to its true taste because for the perfect emerald green peach we need a tree polarized by giant bees and it is also giant bees favorite fruit, harvesting them is not as easy as it seems otherwise it wouldn't be a level 4 mission. Let's go we need to return before the sunset" Kai.

In the outer area of the golden wood forest.

Kai and other three are walk while chatting "Bro how do you know so much about that fruit, even though I have also eaten that fruit but I didn't even know where it comes from" Tony.

Kai chuckle"when I was little our families had once went to outing in a forest and when we were playing, certain someone hit a giant bee that was eating emerald green peach with ice tide and that cause quite a ruckus".

When Kai reached the last line Sera has already turn her face away like she didn't even hear him because she was that 'certain someone'. Ria also notice her change and tried to control her laugh as she realize who Kai is talking about.

"Kai how far is the place where that fruit grows" Sera tried to change the topic and asked.

"It should be west in the outer area of the forest where most of the bug type beast lives, it will take more than half a hour to reach their" few days ago Kai had went to the academy's library and carefully read the whole map of golden wood forest.

"Kai, have you thought of our team's name" Sera.

"Not yet, well you are good in this so I leave it to you" Kai.

After walking towards west for half an hour, they slow down their pace and become cautious of any changes in the surrounding. They has encounter few soul beast in the way but all of them were week and ran away when Kai's groe release their Martial Souls.

"We are almost there, Ria check the surrounding" Kai.

Ria nodded, she released her Martial Soul and fly up on the tallest and hide herself among branches while looking at her surrounding. As the owner of a powerful bird type Martial Soul her eyesight is very good and she can see distant things more clearer than a normal soul fighter.

She quickly find her target, little distance away from them in west there are several tall trees with few giant bees wondering around them. It is little difficult to see from this far but there are definitely several green fruits on the trees.

Ria glide down from the tree and went back to her group "there some trees like those you told about and there are also giant bees there".

"Means we are going in the right direction, be careful we might have to fight or run for our lives" Kai said with a wry smile.
