New home

The train started to slow down, and we were coming up to a stop. "We need to jump now, the train is slow enough so we won't get hurt," Said Callum, getting up. We all got up, and jumped one by one. We made our way to a nearby town, where we would stay for the night, or a couple days depending on how we feel. The air was so dirty here. Atleast back at the train tracks, the air was clearer. We came across a hotel, and decided to check inside for rooms. Most of the rooms we checked were dirty and smelled like someone had died in them. Honestly, there probably were dead bodies in some of the rooms. We came across one room that looked clean enough for us. "There's too many of us so I have an idea," Said Lucas. "Why don't you girls take this room, and us guys will go look for two more rooms."

"Sure that sounds good, and well you're looking, me and Hannah can look for any food." We all agreed and went our separate ways. A Lot of the stores had already been raided and destroyed. We found a couple cans of food that could last us three days at the hotel. "Hey lets bring this back and come for more after," Said Hannah. I agreed.

"Hey boys, we got this for now, we're going out for more. You're all going to have to share two cans for now."

"Where'd you get the food from?" Asked Parker. "There was a run down store with some leftover cans," Said Isabelle, sounding proud of herself. The four boys went back to their conversation, and Isabelle and I stood in the doorway.

"Are you sure you want to go out for food? It's getting kind of dark Hannah." Signed Isabelle. "No i know, but we kind of need food to last all six of us long enough."

"We could just go get food for us and let them get their own." I shrugged. I didn't want to be selfish but, we can't get enough for all of us. "Why don't we all go for food tomorrow?" Isabelle nodded in agreement.

"Hey you girls okay? You've been standing there for a bit.." Said Parker. "We were just thinking, do you all wanna go out tomorrow and get food? We don't really have enough for six people right now." Said Isabelle. They all looked at each other. "Ya sure, well go with you guys." Said Vance. "Alright well, see you tomorrow. Night," Said Isabelle. I waved goodbye. "Night," They all said.

The girls went to sleep, and us four had to figure out who's sharing a room with who. "Why don't we just do rock paper scissors?" Said Parker, laughing. "No, thats stupid, just pick someone." I thought for a second. "Callum, wanna bunk with me?" He nodded, "Sure."

"Alright lucas, you and vance can go find your room now," I said waving goodbye. Me and Callum walked in silence. We made it to our room, and sprawled out on the beds immediately. "Oh my god I'm so happy to be in a real bed finally."

"I know, those shelter beds sucked," Callum said laughing a bit. "So what should we do. Rest or explore?"

"Exploring sounds fun and all, but I'd rather do that tomorrow when I'm not tired." Parker said, yawning. He agreed and turned the light off. "Night."

Me and Lucas made it to our room pretty quickly. "Dude, these beds feel so nice compared to our other ones."

"I know right, I think I might actually sleep well," I said Laughing. "Well I'm pretty tired so, see you in the morning, night."

"Night." I said, yawning.
