Rainbow Dash cried in her room, this was not what she wanted or hoped. She was hoping that the big secret would be say someone recently died, she'd still be sad, but not like this. Which is worse? Finding out you're not who you think you are, or losing someone you love? It'd be hard to choose.

She couldn't sleep that night, she had lost so many nights of sleep because of this and she was so cranky, tired and sad.
Rainbow: What am I supposed to do now? I hate this stupid secret, I just wanna be a normal kid like everyone else.
Just as see was about to fall asleep, she saw a small, white box on her nightstand.

Rainbow: That wasn't there before, did Mom and Dad just put that there?
She took the box and opened it, she saw a small envelope on top of it. She opened it and read it:
My dearest, Rainbow Dash,
If you're reading this, it means I'm already dead, but it's about time you learn the truth. The reason why I left you down on Earth was because my kingdom was under attack and we could hardly fight back, so I sent you down to Earth for your safety. I've been hoping your life on Earth would bring you great joy since then and I had missed you very deeply. I hope all is going well for you, I left you these valuables, don't lose them, they are very important and will have an impact in your future. I love you so much, my dear princess.

The secret had just got so much bigger, first Rainbow Dash found out she's from the moon, but then she finds out that the home she was born in was destroyed, then she finds out her birth mother is already dead, then she finds out that she's a princess.
Rainbow: Ugh, can this get any bigger? I hate this so much.
She looked into the box and found a few things, a moon nightlight, a moon bracelet, and a tiara.

She closed the box and went back to bed. The secret got bigger which would be much worse for her, she didn't want anything else to do with it and tried to ignore it, but it was very difficult to do so. She didn't really have much a choice which really stank for her. She just wished that it never happened or that it would at least go away
