Her hand touched his back and she reassured him all was okay. It would be protocol back home to teach everyone to handle the machinery, and she told him it was her mistake of suggesting the lesson at night. That she learned from her past of not holding anyone responsible for their own accountability, and how the lesson of driving was important for anyone to master when it came to searching the land. Putz insisted she was crazy, and again complained in his vulgar manner about them avoiding the task at hand.

It was morning when they all woke up. Actually morning, the light was out. There was no gradual moonrise though, it was jarring how the sky just lit up and their eyelids burned.

"Jeeeeez!!!" Putz hissed under the moon. "Fuckin' stupid thing's assaultin' me now."

"Morning, Sweet Stuff." She held back a gag, holding for him a bowl of fruits organized by color. "Gotta eat if we're gonna defeat The Order soon!"

"Fantastic." He snatched it from her, shoveling it down. "Now how about we just do it instead of talking about it?"

She smiled sweetly and told him just after the temple they'd be sure to. But it had to be at night.

"Why? Why does it matter?!"

"Do you really want to get caught?" She asked. "Who knows how long the light will be? We don't have normal day and night like you guys do."

"Hate to break it to ya, but we kind of have that problem downtown. Not around the entire city, but for some reason only during Spla-"

"AAaah! Don't hurt me!!" Yelled Felix. "Please, take whatever you want, take the girl, we have a mystical being, just not me, I'm worthless! I'm!--"

Derek hit him with a twisted towel. "Chill octard, it's just the sky actin' up again."

Hmm, "octard." Putz made a mental note. He looked back and Sera looked livid, scowling intently at Felix.

Sera grabbed his hand and smiled at him, once she was sure Felix was looking. "My dear," her hands were cold. "I'm sorry I haven't considered your viewpoint. What time did you think would be sufficient?"

"Now."

"Fine, everyone. In the RV!!"

"I didn't eat! Hold up!" Derek grabbed a bunch of fruit and scrambled about.

"If you're slow, too bad. Move the fuck up or get lost." Putz warned, yelling to them not far behind.

Iza was half asleep in the shower, making use of the lavender body wash which now lathered her body in a foamy mess. When the door opened she (for once) hoped it was just Sera. Which it was, until Putz came stepping behind her.

"Yeeep!!!" She shrieked, covering her chest. Thankfully the shower was in the back and there was a curtain, but footsteps kept treading closer. "I'm in here!" She yelped. Sera opened the curtain. She couldn't see anyone else, and she was sure to close it behind her.

"What did you two talk about last night?" Her voice was very hushed, and she didn't say it until she was sure Putz and the other guys were arguing, which, because they were in close proximity of each other, of course they were. Iza peeled open the curtain slightly and assured her it was nothing, just a simple threat and that her and him were 'ruined.'

"That wasn't my goal. It wasn't to ruin you and him, whatever you are."

"What we are?!" She whispered in a cracking voice. "It's not like that!--"

"He's gonna go home soon, you know that right?"

Iza drew her brows and opened the curtains a little more, peering up at her, baffled. "What do you mean?"
