Chapter 2

Ace POV

The son of Billionaire tycoon Allister De La Rue has once again found himself in the spot light after rumors surfaced that he allegedly paid an underage girl to have an abortion after she confirmed that she was pregnant with his child. Our sources close to the girl's family told our news's channel that the pair  did in fact dated for a couple of  weeks but they called it quits after she got pregnant.  We tried to get Mr. De La Rue to make a statement  after he was released from police custody a few hours ago  to get this side of the story but phone calls to his office and his cellphone went unanswered.

Three days !!! Three fucking days, that's how long I spent in jail. If I had stayed longer I would be getting gang raped by a group of biker dudes in the shower at this very moment. I still can't decide what's worst thou. That? or my name being splashed over the news because a teenage psycho I only met once at a coffee shop,  started a crazy obsession with me after I smiled at her when she handed me my change.

  In that young sick mind of hers we were dating and I got her pregnant then dumped her after I paid her to have an abortion.

I should've called the cops when I saw her wondering around my office building or the time I saw her camping outside my house. But those not so subtle letters she will leave on my doorstep should've been the first red flag to let me know she was crazy.

 Big mistake on my end . I paid dearly for not doing something about it because while she was out stalking me one night she saw me kissing a blonde outside a bar and that must have been the trigger behind the police complaint.

 I must say she is pretty good actress, if I wasn't the one standing trial I would believe that she was the victim in this situation because of the outrageous  stories that she told the judge.  Her family must have been in on it too because her father  was in court demanding a ridiculous sum of money to pay for the "Damages" I did to his little girl. 

She was already damaged before she met me, he should've done the right by her and put her in a mental hospital instead of chasing  my pocket for an easy pay day. Guess he forgot modern technology has evolved and DNA evidence could prove that I have never been intimate with her and she was never pregnant to begin with.

My phone rang and I ignored it.  It was probably  one of those reporter calling  again for the 100th time this morning.

The phone kept on ringing and I pick it up with the intention of telling whosoever was on the line to fuck off but I relaxed when I realized that it was my dad.

I answered the call " Hey Dad" 

"Have you seen this" He sounded angry.

  "Seen what?" I asked 

" The share price of our company. Our stock prices are decreasing as we speak" , for a second there I really though maybe he was going to take a minute to ask me how I was, seeing that I just got out of jail but I should've known he'd be more worried about the company.

I sighed " We knew this was bound to happen at some point, the media is all over the story about why I was arrested" 

"And whose fault is  that  Ace? You created this mess and I expect you to clean it up" By the tone of his voice I could tell that he was furious but I didn't care.

"Do you know since you called you didn't once bother to ask how I was doing let alone visit me while I was in jail , all you've been blabbering about is your stupid company" I hissed

He let out a humorless laugh, " Visit you? Where do you think you were daycare, why should I come visit you when you are busy running the company into the ground.  You are going to find a way to fix this or else I'm replacing you as CEO." He ended the call before I could get  another word in.
