Eliana drove Blanca's car, the gears almost jammed. A few scrunchies were placed around the gears. Several ornaments hung from the rear view mirror.
The stars shone brighter today.
Eliana had a significant love for the stars and sky. It didn't matter whether it was a sunny day or if it was raining or if it was night, her love for the sky never faltered.
Eliana tried to contemplate her existence heavily at some point. The purpose of life itself is treated of vital importance but no one knows for sure the reason of our sole existence.
We try to convince ourselves that our lives matter at a galactic scale.
Eliana accepted it, that her life didn't matter at a galactic scale, but for some people her life was bigger than the whole universe.
For some people we are the universe.
Looking at the stars, Eliana felt so insignificant that it was calming. All her troubles dissolved like water evaporating. She knew that somewhere, somehow she would be fine.
And that's all that mattered.
They neared their destination. Eliana was visibly nervous. Her leg bounced up and down. Harry wanted to reach out for her leg and press his hand against her thigh in order to calm her down.
He didn't know where they were heading but he knew that it frightened Eliana. He knew that it mattered a lot to her. He wanted to soothe her nerves, untangle her adversities slowly, one by one with his bare hands.
"How long till we reach?" He asked her, hoping she'd calm down a bit.
"Just a few minutes." She said, clearing her throat. She drew in a shaky breath and drove faster, wanting to get over this nightmare quickly.
She was afraid. She was afraid that she would fall down the rabbit hole again and never come back out. She didn't want the woman in her dreams to return. She wasn't ready for the torture she had to endure earlier to repeat itself once again.
She shook her fear off, knowing that it would amplify the difficulty of this situation. It would only frighten her more.
They stopped in front of a large house. People were standing on the front yard with red cups in their hands. Eliana shut the door hard, startling Harry. Her sudden change of demeanour caught him off guard.
"Don't talk to anyone. Don't eat anything, don't drink anything. Stay with me and don't wanted off." She said, almost like a mother trying to install some sense in her child.
"Okay." He said.
He had been to multiple parties, but he didn't understand why Eliana was so stern and strict about this.
Eliana walked into the house, her hands placed in her cigarette jeans, her fishnet stockings peaking out. Her back was straightened, she was radiating confidence but Harry knew that she was only faking it because he saw her nervous in the car.
