Calum had left, not too long after they'd finished their make out session.
Calum was driving home, happily, of course, when he remembered he hadn't talked to Luke. So he drove home, getting out of his car and swinging the door open, entering the house.
"Babe?" Calum calls. No answer.
"Luke?" He repeats. No answer.
He should've been answering, his car was in the driveway.
"Well, well, well." Luke says, walking around the corner, his hands slowly clapping.
"Hey ba-" calum starts, but is cut off. "No, don't 'hey babe' me. You're a fucking attention seeking piece of shit." Luke hisses, stepping closer to the brown haired boy.
"Luke, I-I don't.. What are you ta-"
"what am I talking about? Oh, you know." Luke says, taking out his phone, pressing speakerphone, the words flowing through the phone.
"I, I love you....
I love you too...
You're.... You're so perfect....
You... You are too..."
Luke turns his phone off, placing it back into his pocket, raising an eyebrow. "Care to explain?"
"I-Luke... I didn't-"
"Didn't think I was going to find out? You would've still been keeping this from me? This blind affair?"
"No-I-I.. Luke.. I.."
"Bethany sent this to me. Didn't know we were friends? Sweetie, we are." Luke hisses.
"I didn't w-"
"Save it, Calum. We're done." Luke says. "I already packed my shit up and I'm leaving. I don't know where I'm going to go, but I don't care. Anywhere away from you." He says, pushing past calum, (maybe a bit too harsh than needed) letting him fall onto the floor, as Luke made his way out the door, slamming it shut, making calum flinch.
Calum's eyes were tear stained and he tried to stand up, failing miserably, collapsing onto the floor again.
Crying.
He cried the entire day, and he cried himself to sleep.
He didn't move from that spot. He didn't want to.
__________________________
It was Monday, and honestly it was one of the worst Mondays in the entire human existence.
Calum didn't talk to anyone throughout first period, he just simply did what he was told.
"Cal?" He hears a familiar voice say, and turns around, seeing Britney.
"Hey Brit.." Calum mumbles, putting his stuff away into his locker.
"Are you alright?" She sighs, taking Calum's hand in hers, Calum immediately intertwining their fingers.
"I... I'm fine." Calum chokes out, trying to fight back the tears he could feel coming.
"I know something's up... Are you ok?" Britney frowns.
"I'm fine.. I..." Calum says, before he completely breaks into sobs and just holds Britney close.
"What's wrong, Calum?" Britney rubs small circles on his back.
"I-I.. Can we talk about it later?" Calum sniffles, wiping the last of his tears. (Which, surprisingly, didn't last very long.)
"Ice cream and pizza after school my place?" She smiles, and calum felt a huge grin grow on his face.
"I love you" he laughs.
"I just know you so well." She smirks, winking at calum.
