Calum sighs, walking to his locker after Luke had dropped him off.
He opened his locker, before some one was pushed into him.
"Ha, you're so fucking clumsy you smash into people. Britney, no one likes you, go kill yourself." The jock of the school, Jake, said to the blonde girl that was pushed into him.
"Hey, i may not know this girl, but i don't think telling her to kill herself will solve any problems, Jake." Calum glares, grabbing the girls wrist and pulling her beside him. She winced slightly, but calum thought nonetheless.
"Ooh, sticking up for the hottie? What, you wanna get in her pants?" Jake scoffed, laughing.
These were the times had to tell people about his sexuality.
"Yo, asshole. I'm in fact gay so shut your stereotypical mouth, or go wash it with some soap."
Jake's eyes widened, and he backed away. "I-i didn't know you were gay.. Sorry..." Jake mumbles before turning on his heel.
Calum never thought jake was a nice person. He isn't really. But he thought he'd make some smartass joke about his sexuality.
"Hey, dickface! Get back here and apologize." Calum scolds, still holding onto the girls wrist.
Jake turns around, looking down as he mumbles. "Sorry, Britney." Then, he turns around and walks away.
Calum smirks to himself, before turning to the girl, his eyes softening, holding both her hands in his bigger one's.
"Hey, uh, britney..?" Calum chuckles, using her name for once. "I don't know you, but that doesn't mean i shouldn't care. Are you alright?" Calum smiles, grazing his thumb over the bruise forming under her eye.
"Y-yeah... Thanks." Britney smiles, blushing.
"I'm Calum. Nice to meet you." Calum laughs, letting go of her hands, as they fall to her sides.
"Britney.. If that wasn't quite obvious.." She giggles, wiping her somewhat teary eyes.
"Can i have your number? You can call me if you need anything." Calum smiles, handing the girl his phone.
"Uh, yeah." She smiles, putting her number in.
"Alright well, since im lazy i'll just text you and then you'll have my number." Calum laughs, texting her a simple hi.
The girl giggles, receiving the text and smiling, inserting the contact as Calum.
"Do you wanna sit with me at lunch? Oh god, i sound clingy already." Calum laughs, while he puts her contact as Britney.
She smiles, giggling as she blushes. "Um, sure. That'd be nice." she smiles, creases forming around her eyes making her look adorable.
Calum was gay of course, so not the adorable that you wanna slam them against the wall and make love to them.
Just as calum opened his mouth to say something, the bell rang, signalling people had to get to class.
"Ugh, school." Calum laughs, and britney does the same.
"Alright, i'll see you around Calum." She smiles, waving a small wave at him, before walking off to her first class, chemistry.
Calum smiles to himself, grabbing his books and shutting his locker before walking the opposite direction towards biology.

"Britney! You didn't forget! Calum laughs, signalling for her to come sit next to him. She smiles, sitting down and picking up one of the fries she had on her tray.
"So, why did jack uh, push you into me?"
"He wanted to push me into the lockers, but i hit you... Sorry about that.." She laughs nervously, and quietly.
"It's okay, but why did he push you in general?" Calum raises an eyebrow, looking towards jack's direction, seeing him sitting in the middle of the room on a table, making out with a girl sitting on his lap.
"Uh.."
Calum looks to her, seeing her look down and play with the paws of her sweatshirt.
"H-he thinks im 'lame'. I don't know.. He likes to bully me i guess..." Britney sighs, tears willing to spill from her eyes.
"Why?" Calum looks at her, frowning.
"I-i..w-we used to be a thing. He cheated.. I broke up with him, he told the whole school he broke up with me..."
"Oh.. That was that rumour?"
"Um yeah..." She sighs.
Calum thought she was gorgeous. Coming from a gay guy, that's pretty good.
She had long wavy brown hair, that fell down to a bit longer than her shoulders. Her eyes were a striking blue, kind of like luke's, which calum found so amusing. You don't see much blue eyed brunettes. She also had her lip pierced, like luke also. She wore grey leggings with a baggy white sweatshirt, pulling down her sleeves constantly. She only wore a bit of makeup, mascara and some eyeliner. Calum liked that. She was beautiful, but calum thought she was quite insecure about herself by the way she likes.
"I wanna get to know you." Calum smiles, eating one of his fries.
"Do you wanna go to like, the library to talk?" She suggests, looking up and drinking some of her water.
"Oh, weekdays dont work for me. I have tutoring with Michael Clifford until like, 4:30." Calum groans. "I really don't enjoy it, i wanna quit but, yeah, i need good grades." He rolls his eyes.
"Michael Clifford? The blind guy?"
"Yeah. Crazy right? Yet he still manages to do a good job tutoring me." Calum chuckles, eating another fry.
"Well, we can try a weekend? You can come to my place?" Britney says, smiling slightly.
"Or you could come to mine."
"Okay.." Britney laughs, drinking some more water after eating a handful of fries.
The bell rings, signalling for the students to get back to their classes.
"Okay, i'll text you about it!" Calum smiles, waving to Britney before exiting the cafeteria.
