When I go to change into my normal clothes I hear my phone go off. When I pick it up I have a text from a blocked number.

It says, "watch your back." I couldn't help but feel threatened...

I feel my palms sweat...
I can feel the room getting smaller, I can't breathe. Maia... Maia. Maia just keeps running over and over in my head.

Would she have sent this? I want to puke. No, I want to cry. No, I don't know what I want to do.

I take in 10 deep breaths and sit in the seat in the dressing room.

It helps me to calm down. I've had anxiety since I was 12. The older I got the worse my anxiety got. Especially since Vanessa left.

My anxiety is hard to get rid of now because of my stupid depression.

I slowly stand up and walk out of the dressing room.

"Hey, are you okay?" Rydel asks standing up from the couch with Raini.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I say. "Are you sure?" Raini holds my shoulder. "Yes." I nod my head yes.

"Alright." You could tell from Raini's tone that she didn't want argue or pressure me.

They look at me sympathetically and we check out our dresses.

"So what should we talk about?" Raini questions. Literally every time I hangout with my friends they ask that same exact question.

"Boys!" Rydel squeals. "Uh- I mean I don't know..." Rydel looks away embarrassed.

Like I said before Rydel is a very laid back person. One of the guys. But lately she's been really perky...

"No. We should talk about boys." I agree. I hoping this will lead to why she's so cheerful.

"Yay!" Rydel screams causing everyone walking past us to stare. "Now that my ear is shattered, I guess I can't listen." Raini tells us holding onto her left ear.

"Sorry." Rydel plays with her fingers. She does the same thing as Ross when he gets nervous or embarrassed.

Must run in the family.

"Who do you like Raini?" I say upfront. Raini is surprised by such a question.

I think she wasn't expecting a question like that from someone like me.

"Um... Uh-" Raini says uncomfortable. "Come on! Please tell us!" Rydel pleads with her hands.

She sighs. "Fiiiinnnneee." She groans. "I like Calum." She shrugs. Talk about a plot twist.

Rydel: Say what?

Me: Really?

We say at the same time.

"You asked. I answered." She says simply. Rydel and I share looks and move on.

"So who's on your mind Rydel?" I put my hands in my pocket.

"Ell-" she stops herself. "Isn't this purse elldorable?"

"Did I just say elldorable? Ha! Silly me." Rydel starts to walk fast. When Raini and I catch up we pop the question we all want to know.

"Do you like Ellington?" Raini and I ask in unison.

She stops in her tracks and turns to face us. "Maybe?" She says as if she's guilty.
