Who honestly wouldn't love a Friday?

The day where you do absolutely nothing when you get home from school.

If they didn't something has to be wrong with them!

I walk into the lonely hallways.

Walking to my locker slowly opening it this time.

No slime.

I sigh in relief.

I take out the books and binders I'm going to need for the day.

Waking up extra early to get here faster wasn't really worth it.

I take the seat I would sit in during my first period class, English.

I'm still currently avoiding Ross.

Knowing Ross he'd definitely wait for me at my bus stop.

I know for a fact that Ross doesn't like me.

Looking into those brown eyes of his.

I didn't see anything but just eyes looking back at me.

They weren't just eyes, they were his eyes.

I snap myself out it and try to finish up my Harry Potter book.

Trying to focus I read the same sentence repeatedly forgetting every time what the hell I just read.

My ears were now overpowering my eyes.

I hear footsteps.

As it gets closer I hear humming.

Soon enough I hear singing.

I've never heard of the song but it sounded great.

Curious as to who was I singing I look out into the hall to see Ross looking at his feet as he sings.

Oh my god. I pull my body back into the classroom.

He doesn't know I'm here.

He sounds great.

He can genuinely sing.

Once he finishes I debate on whether or not to come out of the classroom and applaud him or just pretend like I didn't hear anything.

~Ross Lynch

Heading for the doors to meet up with Brad and Leroy at the field a voice stops me in my tracks.

"Do you always sing like that?"

She stood in the middle of the hallway. The light making her look like a silhouette.

"You hear all of that?" I rub the back of my neck.

"All of it." She nods.

I only sing in front of my family.

It would ruin my reputation more than it is if everyone knew I loved to sing.
