Once again I wake to throwing up, Peeta's at work today so it's prim holding my hair. Once I'm done and I've washed my mouth if this digusting taste, prim turn to me with an unreadable face

"I think I may know why your throwing up"she says, I wouldn't be surprised, prims always been good at this doctor stuff

"Why?"I ask, we sit down on my bed, she looks at me again

"When was the last time you and peeta...had sex"she asks, I choke on air. What the hell? Why would my little sister ask that

"What...why?"I ask, she sighs

"I know it seems weird just answer"she says, I nod

"Last week, why?"I ask, she nods her lips pursed

"Have you been having any weird cravings lately"she asks, I still have no idea why she's asking me this

"Yeah, raspberries"I say, she nods and smiles

"Here, trust me"she says, handing me a box of pregnancy tests

I can't be pregnant, what would peeta think? Or haymitch? Or any if our friends. Prim notices my fear and rubs my arm

"I wouldn't be that bad, having a little person running around"she says, I nod an walk into the bathroom

I hear the test beeping on the counter, my hands are shaking. This could tell whether or not I'm having a child, me and peeta are having a child

I bite my lip and flip it, right there is the '+' sign. Oh my god I'm pregnant

Prim knocks in the door, I open it, she notices my face and hugs me. Yes I did want kids but I wanted to be married at least, what's haymitch gonna say? Will he be disappointed or will he be happy?

"It'll be alright kat"prim says, I nod and sit down

"So primmy, any news with you"I ask, she blushes and bites her lip

"Yeah there is, come on tell your sister"I say, she smiles

"Okay, this really cute boy Rory asked me out two weeks ago"she says, I smile

"Primmy got a boyfriend"I sing, she scowls at me

"Yeah but, there's a problem"she says, I stop

"What?"I ask, I'm hoping she's not gonna say he's in prison or something

"His older brother is gale"she says, I gulp

"Is Rory anything like gale?"I ask, she shakes her head

"He looks kinda like him but it stops there, there mother kicked gale out because he's a phyco, and Rory hates him anyways"she explains

"Well call this Rory over I need to talk I him about gale"I say, she looks at me curious, I just nod and smile

She runs downstairs I get her phone while I take the test and go to my room, I hide the test in my jewellery box. I place my hand on my flat stomach

How weird is it there's a child in there, mine and peeta child, and I'm responsible to keep it safe and heathy. Soon there will be a child in the house, god help me if finnick feeds it suger

I laugh at the thought and sit down, I wonder what it would be like to be a parent, yes I looked after prim but that was diffrenet she wasn't my child, she was my sister. I lay back on my bed, how am I going to tell peeta

My thoughts are broken by a knock at my bedroom door, I sit up

"Come in"I shout, prim walks in with a boy trailing behind

He's got olive skin, a little darker than mine, the same brown hair and grey eyes just a tad darker than gales, prim was right he does kinda look like gale

"Hey, you must be Rory"I say, he nods nervous

"Yeah"he says, they both sit in my bed

"I'm not doing one if these older siblings talks you know, I need to talk to you about gale"I say, he looks relived, I smile

"Okay, what about?"he asks, I sit cross legged

"The other night I was in the medow and gale was there, he blasted me with something and knocked me out, for three days straight I was alseep but with a high fever. Do you know why that was?"I ask, he sits in thought for a minute

"Yes, to defend ourselves we have this weird power, it basically makes you sick and weak for a while so we can get away, on humans it lasts a day on other demons or angels, it's ment to last a week"he says, I nod

"So it's nothing lifestakingly bad?"prim says, he nods

"Yeah, you should be fine"he says, I smile

"Thanks Rory"I say he smiles

"See, I'm not sure if I should call you ruler everdeen or katniss"he says, I laugh

"Katniss, just katniss"I say, he nods

"Okay, your welcome katniss"he says, him and prim leave, to do what? I don't know

Just after that Annie comes in, she smiles and sits down

"Okay katniss, Fridays the big day"she says, oh yes the weddings in three days, I smile and nod

"You exited"I ask, she nods

"Who wouldn't be"she says, I smile

"So is everything sorted"I ask, she frowns

"Flowers, we still need flowers"she says, I smile

"What's your favorite flower, and what's finnicks?"I ask, she looks at me

"Mine are pink blossoms and finnicks I think are tulips"she says, I smile I've got the perfect idea

"Okay you want pink, any colour for Finn"I ask, she nods

"Blue"she says

"Well then leave it to me"I say, she nods and hops off my bed and out the door

*time skip*

Me and peeta are sitting in my room, I'm really distracted by the fact were having a child, I still haven't told him yet

I thinks he's talking about his brother, who did something stupid again

"Are you listening"he asks, I look up and bite my lip

"Yeah, just thinking"I say

"Alright"he says, he looks at me for a second before carrying on

Half way though, I can't take it. I need to tell him like now

"We need to talk, about something important"I say, he looks at me worried

"About what?"he asks, I sit up

"Have you ever thought about children"I ask, he looks confused

"Yeah why?"he asks, I stand up and walk to my jewlery box, I throw the test on the bed and wait for his response

I looks down and chew on my cheek, bad habit

"Oh my god"I hear him whisper, is that bad or good?

"Is this real"he asks, he's standing in front of me

"Yeah"I say, suddenly he wraps his arms around me

"This is fucking awesome"he says, I laugh, I don't really hear him swear, like ever

"Yeah"I say, he pulls away from the hug and kisses me

I smile at his happiness, it's really cute. And to think I thought he wouldn't want this, we break away and I rest my head on his shoulder

"We need to tell the others"I say, he nods

"I know but for now is rather stay like this"he says, I giggle

"Yeah"I breath

I can't believe after everything we've been though, we're still together and now expecting a baby, I wonder what else the future has in stall for us
