Coming home and advice

the months filled with work in the cafe, work with paylor and dates with peeta, out of the whole group he's the only one I see because I can't go a month without seeing him, so far we've gone on five dates and then he comes to see me every other day wen he's free

Today's my last day here, I've helped paylor with all the mess snow left, and now it's gone. Every last trace of snow is burned or ripped to pieces, my work here is now done and I'm going home

I've gotten better myself, spending time with people here helped, there's always someone in a room and there sweet and kind, and always talk, unlike the peacekeepers who weren't allowed.

The peacekeepers have gone home to there family's, there safe now and happy. That's all I can wish for.

I wave and says goodbye to everyone, and click my fingers-which is awesome-and I'm at my front door

I walk in and put my bag down.

"Hey"I call, I hear footsteps from the garden shooting up here and within seconds primrose has her arms around me

"Hey primmy"I say she smiles

"Hey kat"she says, we break apart and walk into the garden

I notice finnick upside-down in a tree, he's stuck

"Is there a reason he's up there"I says but burst out laughing after

How the hell did he get stuck in a tree?

"Well my trident got stuck and I was getting it when I slipped and got stuck"he says, I shake my head

Only finnick would be that stupid, sometimes I wonder what goes though that boys head

I lift my hand slightly and shake the tree he falls out and lands on his back, and his trident falls next to him, he hugs the trident

We all burst out laughing

"Tell me again why I'm dating that?"Annie asks we all snicker

"Because you love me"he says In a baby voice

"Oh right"Annie says giggling, he gets up and smiles

I shake my head walking inside, I lean on the counter watching him dance with the trident, I'm laughing so hard tears are in my eyes

I feel two arms snake around my waist, it obviously peeta

I spin and come face to face with him, he smiles as I do I, he presses his lips to mine, it's sweet and soft

We only break apart when we need to breath, our foreheads resting on one another, we both smiling

"Hey"I say he laughs

"Hi"he says, I smile

We hear everyone come in, so we turn to face them, finnick has twigs and leafs in his hair, which just makes me laugh harder than before

"Hey katniss, can we talk"he says I nod and we walk upstairs mad lock the door

"What's up?"I ask he scratches the back of his neck

"I kinda wanted to propose to Annie, but I don't know how"he admits

Oh my god, he's wants to propose that's amazing, I have a big smile on my face

"Well she loves beachs so I would do it there, candles and rose petals would be romantic too"I say he smiles

"Thanks"he says, I hug him

"Congrats finnick"I say, he smiles

We walk out and down stairs, everyone looks at us

"What did you talk about?"Johanna asks, I'm about the make an excuse when finnick beats me to it

"Flowers for my niece, she loves them and I wanted to buys some but I didn't know why kind"he says I nod and smile

We all sit in the living room watching TV, I can't believe there going to get married

It's amazing, I feel so happy for them

I smile at the thought,my best friends getting married, I can't wait
