AN: Sorry for the late post time, usually I post at 5 in the morning, but I had some other writing stuff (October Johnson) to do. Enjoy this poem!

There's almost nothing about this year that I resent

And lots of people say there's no place like home

But I want my summer to be different

The things I've done, the places I went

Is where my mind likes to roam

There's almost nothing about this year that I resent

The house was where my time was mostly spent

And the door to my room is like a dome

But I want my summer to be different

This year I've stayed content

While scientists went over the vaccine with a fine-tooth comb

There's almost nothing about this year that I resent

But now it's time for me to vent

Over days that I've felt like a garden gnome

And I want this summer to be different

The old normal needs an ascent

Because there's times I feel like visiting Nome

There's almost nothing about this year that I resent

But I want my summer to be different
