Even if it feels out of the blue
You gotta shake things up
And try your hand at something new
Life'll surprise you when if you do
It'll feel like drinking from a brand-new cup
Even it feels out of the blue
It happened to me plenty, I'm telling you
Like a bike ride in the dark or an energtic pup
Those times, I tried my hand at something new
Some days will have a loose screw
And you'll wonder, "What's the letup?"
It'll feel out of the blue
But before you look at the day askew
Here's a little heads-up:
Try your hand at something new
Surprises need a "Yay!" and not a "Boooo!"
This poem is your wake-up
