The white lights of the moons illuminate my dark path, leaves crack every time my feet stand over them, the night is dark and cold. The winds embrace me with their invisible arms, cooling me, penetrated my thick suit, playing delicately with my hair. Everything is in deep silent, the only sounds that could be heard are those of the wolves howling, the phoenixes flying and the wind screaming and hitting the pines, bases and buildings with force, and the unknown chants.
I sit in the snow, at the feet of the waters, this welcome me by trying to get closer to me. At the shore of the frozen ocean, I hug my legs, trying to think of some plan and trying to forget the ridiculous dream that woke me up sweating and catching air.
It's not the first time I dreamed of him.
Every time I close my eyes, I can see his face.
For the last few times, since the kiss, my dreams about him are more persist and feel so real. I can feel the heat of his body close to mine, his touch bringing currents of strange sensations to my body, his hot pink and warm lips leaving kisses over my lips.
I look away from the waters when feeling my ears get red.
I can't think about him this way just because of a kiss.
I hate Lane.
I find myself looking into his eyes, my hands touching his wounds with my fingertips. But then everything just fades and I saw him killing my parents with his bare hands.
Blood slipping down his fingers, blood on his bow and laser, blood on his face, blood on me.
I shake my head trying to get that dream out of my head and started trying to visualize a plan.
Do you know the children of the empire?
Too much I would say.
I thought lane wouldn't be of use to me, but now seems like have the key in my hand I just need to put it in the lock. The door is in front of me, I just need to get closer to it.
I am only one step away from being close to what always I wanted to achieve, yet one step away from my goal.
End the war.
And get my revenge.
I'm coming for you.
MALACHITE, SOUTH INDIGO, EMPIRE OF INDIGO TERRITORY.
"The challenge is easy this time. All you have to do is go up that mountain, and go down with the flag in the top of the mountain. Whoever goes down first with the flag in hands, wins the challenge." Colonel Merlot says and we turne around to see the huge mountain in front of us.
Is this training? How can this be a challenge? Don't we do this everyday?
"1... 2... and three!" He yells before we all start climbing the rocky and cold mountain.
I place my hand on the stone and with the other take the other. The ice on the stones threats to make me slip and fall, but I try to just put my hand on the ones with snow on them and when they didn't have snow I tried to hold on as tight as I can. Many begin to fall, and try to climb it again, while the others continued trying to climb the huge mountain.
I raise my leg, as I do, my hand slip off the stone. I start to panicking because I'm also in he top, also the fall from here will hurt a lot. Out of the blue, like a hand holding me, or most likely a force, holding me, preventing me from falling. I'm literally holding in one hand, ready to fall. But I don't fall, I'm just floating , as if someone is levitating me. I quickly react taking advantage of whatever is happening, take the stone again and the strange force just disappeared.
