Percy Jackson And Friends Oneshots

He's more than you think

This one is a sad one and is inspired by a bunch of one-shots I've read because we all know I can't make a good original one-shot for the life of me.

Warnings: Not taking care of themself, brief talk of abuse, self worthlessness

Nobody really knew, and he was surprised that they hadn't found out. 

'Oh stop being such a baby about it! It's not like it's a big thing, like Leo trying to hide his anxiety. Or Piper and Hazel feeling like they aren't enough. Or Annabeth getting nightmares and overworking. Or Frank not feeling comfortable with himself. Or Nico not eating or taking care of himself. Or even Jason feeling jealous and wanting to do more.' That's what he told himself because he was Percy Jackson, what was he supposed to think?

People may not know, but the name 'Seaweed Brain' bothers him more than his friends might think. He knows that they don't mean it literally, or at least he thinks they don't. It reminds him of all the times Gabe would tell him that he's not smart cause he's dyslexic. Or he would be bullied at school. It even happened now, on the Argo II.

This is a dude who I named Bobby (╬▔皿▔)╯ who is boss at the flashback store 

"We're gonna need more supplies if we want to keep going" Leo updated while eating some chips. Leo pointed at the island, not too far from them.

"We're definitely gonna need some limestone from there, but we also need tar." 

"So we need to split up?" Frank summarised. Leo nodded while dipping his chips in some more hot sauce. 

"I'm gonna stay here, there are some repairs I can start on with the oars, besides, I can't delay you guys with all the ladies coming after me," Leo said.

"So how do we split up?" Frank asked.  Looking a bit uncomfortable as Leo reached over him to get some guac. Percy was gonna start talking but Annabeth interrupted.

"I have an idea, what if..."  

"Frank can fly us to the city and-" Annabeth faltered, "What were you gonna say, Percy?"

"I think I have an idea-" 

"Wow there Aquaman! Don't hurt yourself thinking too hard. That's why we have Annabeth, our resident smartie pants, no offense Annie." Leo joked but none of them realized Percy took it to heart (Do not take this the wrong way, this is only for the one-shot I LOVE Leo platonically). 

Bobby has decided to get out of the past because he's cranky     (╬▔皿▔)╯

Percy may not be the smartest like Annabeth, but he knew and could read people like an open book. And he was pretty dam good at strategy. It was how he realized that Leo suffered through anxiety attacks and sometimes felt he wasn't worth all the trouble. Or how Jason was always jealous of Percy. He knew that all of his friends are suffering through something. And so, he did his best to help. Even though it didn't let him take care of himself sometimes. 

He would let Leo rant to him whenever he wanted to and made sure to always be there for his attacks. He just had a general calming aura that helped, probably from his mom. He made sure to train hard with Piper and Hazel, not treating them like they were fragile, but now overworking them either. He sat down all night making sure that Annabeth could sleep well and would make sure she did. He even made sure she didn't overwork herself after Tartarus, even if it resulted in her snapping at him. 

He made sure to make Nico eat and even watched him (not creepily) to make sure that he was okay by demigod standards. He made sure to help Frank control his ability since it was kind of similar to the way he controlled water. And he made sure to make mistakes on purpose in front of Jason so he wouldn't feel too jealous. And he made sure to let Jason take the leads most of the time, even if it resulted in him staying up all nights figuring out strategies but making sure that Jason would think they're his own.
