" What new knowledge do you have for us today? " said Ascanius.
Surama thought about it for a moment, he then said;
" There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in a storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man." - Patrick Rothfuss.
" Why is that quote so important? " asked Gurth.
" Uh, I know " said Briseis, excitedly; " It is because; every single thing which seems innocent is actually hiding a lot within; such as emotions, which can go off like a bomb "
Surama smiled at Briseis.
" Actually, I merely said that quote because there is a storm coming "
Gurth, Briseis and Ascanius all three saw the storm coming towards Atlantis.
The odd thing was, there was something... or someone inside of the storm.
The storm now scattered towards the four winds, pun intended, and in front of everyone flew a mighty dragon.
Queen Winona approached the dragon, she then said;
" Make yourself known "
The dragon felt insulted.
" I am a dragon you mere mortal, it is you who should announce your name first "
Surama now stepped forward.
" Her grace is Queen Winona, Queen of Atlantis and of the Seven Seas "
The dragon glared down at Surama.
" I am the Dragon King; Ao Kuang "
" What business do you have here, oh dragon king? " asked Surama.
" I presume that you have some sort of relationship to the Queen? "
" I am her advisor "
" I see " said Ao Kuang with a smile; " I will however speak directly to the Queen and not to her through you " said the Dragon King with a glare.
" I see that I have overstepped my bounds, " said Surama with a bow and a smile.
" You did no such thing " said Queen Winona with a smile; " Ao Kuang, do not show hostility to my advisor, he only did as his duty commanded "
" Hostility? " said Ao Kuang, very confused; " Please do not misunderstand, I meant no ill will towards your advisor, I merely stated that I would speak to you directly, and not speak through your advisor. I thought that I had made myself clear? "
" What is going on? " said Gurth, who had lost the thread.
" They are establishing the flow of the conversation, " said Briseis.
" Wait, so the conversation has not even started yet?? "
" Started? It has barely begun, " said Ascanius with a smile.
Gurth was about to say something, but that was when everyone heard;
" Enough "
From out the sea came forth a majestic creature, who flew into the air.
" Tiamat... " uttered Queen Winona with a smile.
" I bore from your dull conversation; Ao Kuang, state your business and be done with it "
Ao Kuang now felt a bit flustered.
" Honestly... I was just wondering if I could borrow some sugar... from my neighbour "
" Of course you can, " said Queen Winona with a smile.
Ao Kuang now flew away with a barrel of sugar in his... paw(?) claw(?)
(What does one call a dragon's hand...?)
Tiamat now flew down towards the Queen.
" How may I be of service, oh great mother of all "
Tiamat liked Winona's words.
" Your words please me "
Tiamat now transformed into her human form.
" Wow... " uttered Gurth.
" Damn... " uttered Briseis.
" Exquisite... " uttered Ascanius.
" Pretty, " said both Scylla and Charybdis.
Tiamat now proudly proclaimed;
" I am Tiamat, the mother of all "
" Mommy...? '' uttered Gurth.
" She did not mean it like- "
Before Briseis could finish, Tiamat said;
" Yes, my child? "
Briseis just looked at both Gurth and Tiamat.
Scylla and Charybdis both ran up to Tiamat.
" Are you our mommy? "
" Of course, " said Tiamat, sincerely.
Scylla and Charybdis each held one of Tiamat's hands, all three were now walking towards the bakery.
" What just happened? " said Briseis.
" It seems like Atlantis just got a mommy " said Gurth with a smile.
