It all started one day, rumors about a half-bull and half-serpent being seen around Atlantis.
Ascanius investigated these rumors.
According to the people, the creature was not hostile, but it certainly was a curiosity.
" A Ophiotaurus? " said Ascanius.
" Indeed " said Thoth; " The part bull and part serpent entity "
" How do I find it? "
Thoth smiled.
" First, you must learn how to tame it "
Ascanius was sitting on a normal black bull.
" How is this going to help? " said Ascanius.
Calmly, Thoth held a red cloth in front of the bull, and you guys can probably guess what happened next.
Ascanius landed in a pool of mud.
Ascanius removed the mud on his face, where he now saw Thoth smiling.
" Again " said Thoth.
Ascanius got back on the bull, he was then sent flying.
" Again "
This time, Ascanius was able to tire the bull out, which meant that he was not thrown off.
" Good " said Thoth, impressed; " time for the next level "
Thoth now poured some slime on the back of the bull.
" How is that fair?! " exclaimed Ascanius.
" It is not. Remember; you are dealing with a Ophiotaurus, who is part serpent, which means that it is slimy as well as strong "
Ascanius was covered in mud, but he then said;
" Let us tame this slimy bull "
Ascanius got on the slimy bull, Thoth held forth the red cloth and Ascanius was immediately thrown off.
Many more attempts were made, and many more times Ascanius was thrown into the pool of mud.
" Why do you wish to tame the Ophiotaurus? " asked Thoth.
" Before; out of curiosity, now; war "
At long last, Ascanius was able to stay on the slimy bull.
It was near one of the ports, where the Ophiotaurus was spotted.
Ascanius laid in wait till the Ophiotaurus was below him, when it was, he jumped on, and the war of wills now began.
The serpent-bull raged like crazy on land, doing its darndest to get Ascanius off.
But, the son of Aeneas held on.
The sun was setting, Ascanius and the Ophiotaurus were both covered in sweat.
The serpent-bull now collapsed from sheer exhaustion, determined Ascanius had won.
