Gurth, Ascanius and Briseis were all three sitting at a bakery; enjoying some sweets.
" This is delicious " said Ascanius; " Thank you for bringing us "
" You're welcome, " said Briseis.
" Gurth, careful that you don't eat your own hand, " said Ascanius with a smile.
Gurth had a mouthful of sweets and he was still putting more in his mouth.
Gurth now tried to utter something.
" What? " said Ascanius.
Gurth now swallowed all the sweets in his mouth.
" This is child's play, '' said Gurth with a smile.
" Excuse me, " said a small girl.
" Yes? " said Briseis.
" Can I have some sweets? " said the little girl, innocently.
" Of course "
Briseis now gave the little girl a big piece of a cake.
" Thank you very much, " said the little girl with a child's smile.
After the girl had eaten her piece, Ascanius asked;
" Where are your parents? "
" Down by the docks, I want you guys to meet them "
" Sounds innocent enough " said Gurth, as he ate one more cake; not a piece, but the whole cake.
They had all arrived at the docks.
" Where are your parents? " said Briseis.
" Right over there " said the little girl, as she pointed.
Gurth, Ascanius and Briseis all looked towards the spot where the little girl had pointed towards.
" I don't see anyone, " said Ascanius, confused.
But, when they all looked back; the little girl was gone.
" Where did she go? " said Briseis, confused.
That was when the whole dock shook, and out from the sea came out a massive tentacle with the head of a hound at the end, then another one came out, and then another, till there were too many to count.
All the hounded-tentacles were attached to a monstrous body. And this monster had the eyes of the little girl.
" Do you think that she is angry because we did not give her more sweets? " said Ascanius, as he looked up at the monster.
" That can not be the reason, " said Briseis.
" That is the reason, " said the monster.
Ascanius and Briseis both looked hella confused.
" Really? " said Briseis.
" Yes, that meanie ate all the sweets, '' said the monster, as it pointed one of its tentacles towards Gurth.
The son of Beowulf just looked at the monster.
" If you change back; then I will give you all my sweets, '' said Gurth with a smile.
The monster paused for a moment, it then dove straight into the sea, and when it came out again; it was as the little girl.
" Pinky promise " said the little girl.
" Pinky promise, '' said Gurth.
The two of them now made a pinky promise.
As they were all walking back to the bakery, Briseis asked;
" What is your name? "
" My name is Scylla "
