Mitch smiled softly at Dom the next morning. His neck hurt, mate mark pulsing in pain every now and then. Last night, Dom asked him to mate before he left. Mitch couldn't agree faster. He greet him with a kiss, dressed quickly. "Where're you running off to?" Dom huffed, watching.

"I'm helping Brian on a car, remember?"

"Right," he grabbed his wrist and kissed him again. "Have fun."

"Yeah. Don't stay in bed too long. You have a few cars to deal with yourself." Dom groaned softly with an eyeroll.

"I love you."

"I love you," he kissed him before standing and finishing tugging on the shirt he grabbed, one he definitely stole from Dom. The older smiled, he liked it when Stiles wore his shirts or jackets. He tied the sleeves of his coveralls around his waist as he left, shutting the door behind him. He smiled at Mia in the hall, she kissed his cheek.

Downstairs, Vince and Jesse were talking Race Wars while they and Brian are breakfast.

"I forgot I'd miss it this year," he frowned as he walked past, grabbing a mug for his coffee.

"We'll kidnap you if we have to," Brian tells him. He chuckles, knowing they completely meant it.

"Nice bite," Letty commented as she walked to the her coffee.

"Thanks," he blushed a little. "Shouldnt we be going soon, Bri?"

"Yep!" They bid their goodbyes and left for DT's.

----

Mitch has become rather proficient under the hood. He likes working on cars, has since he got Roscoe but never had the money or time to really do anything about it. At least hes good with on-the-fly and semi-lasting repairs. Hes got a talent, picks up what ever they toss at him easily. They love having him around, and it's going to suck when hes gone.

"Get outta that head of yours, Mitch. We'll get through this," Brian promised. "Together."

"Yeah, ok," he agrees.

"So, can I ask about your bite?"

"Dom wanted to mate before I left," he answered softly. "I'm glad we did."

"I'm happy for you, Mitch. You've come a long way."

"Thanks, Bri," they smile at each other and work back in silence.

------

Mitch smiled softly at Dom. Three days until the race. He let the older hug him close, Dom kisses his forehead. Mitch smiles a little, sighs heavily.

"You know, Brian assured me hes gonna kidnap you for Race Wars?"

"I fucking hope so," Mitch grumbled. "I was so excited to go again."

"I know, baby," he rubbed his back and they move to sit side-by-side on the couch.

"Did you actually see the video?" Vince asked randomly about 45 minutes later.

"What?"

"The tape that Hale took. Do you actually know he has it?" Vince asked again.

"Well, no. I assumed it was real."

"Ask for proof," Brian demands. "If he sends it to you, then you can give it to the police. Its solid evidence that you were assaulted and that you were younger than 18. If not, then we know hes bluffing."

"Derek could go to jail for statutory rape and filming someone without their knowledge," Mia adds.

"You're dad can go to jail for the possession of child porn, Derek too," Roman joins.

"Oh my god," Mitch smiled. "I have a bargaining chip." He texts his father, waits for the reply. His phone goes off. "Its real. He has it."

"Let's go," Brian stood up. "I'll drive you to the station."

---

"This is compelling evidence," the officer said. Brian squeezed Mitch's shoulders. "Where'd you get that bruise, son?"

"Derek. We ran into each other in the street. He didnt like the fact I left him."

"Alright. I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you," Mitch nods and they leave the station. On the drive home, Mitch looks out the window.

"I'm proud of you, Mitch."

"Why?"

"I look at you and I remember Barstow. I remember the skinny kid who wouldn't go away and always had a cluster of bruises. The one that mama Peirce took in when ever he needed, even if there wasnt enough food or space. The boy who, for the first time in years, I saw so happy when he meet who he thought was the love of his life. The boy who was abused, battered, assaulted, and here he is. Hes got a mate, a family, people who love him."

"It wouldn't have happened without, Bri. Now, before we get home, I have go ask a favor. Dad said I need to publicly break ties with Dom."

"No, we just figured out a plan!"

"They won't have enough for a while. I know he won't yell at me unless it's genuine. So, I'm going to kiss you after your race together."

"Mitch-"

"Just listen. I'll meet back here and explain everything to him, but you can't tell him. Not yet."

"Fine."

"Your mad."

"We just made a plan for you to piss off Dom. He can beat the shit outta me."

"Its a backup. If we get news from the cops, then forget the plan."

"Good."

Mitch turned to him, "thank you, Brian. For not giving up."

"We're not giving up," Brian assured. "We never will. You're pack, Mitch."

"Still."

"C'mon," Brian laughed and they walked up to the house. Mitch is greeted with a kiss, Brian with a hug. Mitch sits with Dom, let's the other play with his hair in one hand and hold his other. He relaxes into it, drifts off peacefully.
