Mitch yawned softly and cuddled closer to Dom. "Warm," he mumbled as a hand rubbed over his arm and side. Dom chuckled, holding his mate close.

"Melissa is coming today," Dom said softly.

"Yeah. Scott's mom. Shes really sweet, she knew about dad... not about Derek and Scott."

"You gonna tell her?"

"No," he sighed and laced their fingers together. He lifted their hands into the air, smiling as Dom squeezed slightly. Their rings glint in the light from the window.

"I love you," Mitch hummed warmly.

"I love you," Dom replied, kissing his hair. They still in bed for another while, just being, until Brian knocked on the door.

"Hey, Melissa's here."

"Coming!" Dom answered and looked at Mitch. He seemed nervous, biting the inside of his cheek.

They dress and head down stairs.

The aging woman looked like she had seen better days. Dressed in jeans and a 'mom' tee, as Mitch calls them, she looked mostly like she did when Mitch saw her just before leaving town. Her hair was a little more grey, she had more wrinkles.

"Melissa," he said softly. The woman stopped looking around and looked at Mitch.

"Stiles," she exhaled softly, opening her arms as in invitation. He happily accepts, hugging the woman tightly.

Dom leaning on the doorway after chasing the crew off to their different jobs. This includes working on the cars for Race Wars, in 6 months. "Hi," Mitch said softly as they pull back. "This is Dom. Dom, Melissa."

"Nice to meet you," Dom offers a pleasant smile and a handshake. "I hope the crew didnt annoy you too much."

"Not at all," she not so secretly checked him out. Totally ignoring the band on his ring finger.

"We actually should get to work," Mitch looks at the time. "You can come hang out if you want."

"I would love too."

"I'll grab our stuff," Mitch breezed past, walking back up the stairs. He listened in on Melissa and Dom.

"Hes a good kid," Melissa started.

"Yeah. He is."

"Do you have kids, Mr. Toretto?"

"Dom, please. And no," Dom chuckled. "But anyone who needs a place to stay is more than welcome under my roof."

"Wow. Like a neighborhood superhero."

Don chuckled again, "my father always took in strays. I guess it's in my blood."

Melissa joins with a laugh, "I'm sure. So, what do you do?"

Mitch wonders back downstairs, "the Toretto's own a quick mart and a garage. DT's."

"Oh," she cleared her throat.

"Yeah. Ready to go?" Dom asked Mitch.

"When you are," he nods. They drove over. Jesse bounds over, grabbed Mitch from the  car. "Hold on, Jes!" He laughed, stumbling and tugging Jesse to a stop. "What's going on?"

"I have a new idea for the car!"

"Ok, breathe, kid," Mitch huffed. "Who gave you coffee?"

"Rome."

"Roman Fucking PIERCE!" Mitch shouts loudly.

"Uh oh," Brian snorts as Roman rolls from under the car.

"Did you give my kid COFFEE!!" Mitch walked over, frowning.

"Mitch," Roman smiled apologetically.

"Really, Rome?" He shoved his shoulder a little, anger fading. "He gets all bouncy. Its tiring."

"Now you know how we felt," Brian chuckled softly. Mitch punched his shoulder a little before he turned to Melissa.

"Melissa, meet my friends. Brian and Roman, we meet when we were kids. Mia, Letty, Jesse, and Vince, we meet when I moved here," he tells her. "Guys, meet Melissa McCall." He caught the shift of their moods. "Chill. Shes a good person," he tells them.

"Nice to meet you, ma'am," Brian smiled and shakes her hand. "I hope Dom didn't give you too much trouble?" Melissa chuckled, Dom slapped Brian upside the head.

"Play nice. I'm gonna go check in on the diner," Mitch smiled and left.

"Sooo, how is he?" Melissa asked when she assumed he was it of earshot.

"It hasn't been the easiest, I'll admit," Brian said. "But, he's a fighter, strong kid."

"Yeah," Roman agreed. "I guess we're all lucky Dom took him in."

"He hasn't caused trouble has he?"

"No, why would you think that?" Mia huffed.

"Oh, he was always dramatic."

Brian looked between a rather fuming Vince and Dom before clearing his throat, "well, he hasn't caused problems for us."

"He always creates problems. If he hadn't drug my son out into the middle of the night for a dead body, we wouldn't have to deal with half the stuff we have been," Melissa rolled her eyes, shaking her head.

"Yeah," Brian shrugged. "And you'd have been killed by Peter Hale."

"What?"

"Oh, did you think that he wouldn't tell us what happened?" Roman scoffed. "He may not tell you everything, but he tells Bri and me everything."

"What're you insinuating?" Melissa frowned.

"Nothing, but dont pretend to think he doesnt tell us things," Brian smiled darkly. "Oh, and dont think that just because your human that others are." His eyes flash, blue. Roman's were the same color. The others dont flash, rather smirk at Melissa's face.

"Hey," Mitch smiled. "Everything ok?"

"Yeah," Dom smiled. Mitch kisses his cheek with a smile.

"Good. We should get to work."

"Course. You mind working with Rome and Bri today?"

"Not at all. Oh, and if you give Jes coffee again, Rome, I'll skin you."

"Uh, Stiles..." Melissa frowned. "What-"

"After I left, Bri and Rome took me back in. I dont care that they're wolves," Mitch chuckled. "There should be a seat around somewhere."

They settle into work, Mitch laughed as he, Brian, Dom, Roman, and Letty joked around, the others worked in the diner.

"You ok, Mitch?" Brian asked softly.

"Yeah. Worried. She was, and is, checking Dom out."

"Jealous?" Roman joked from under their feet. Mitch kicked his roller a little.

"Possibly," he huffed softly.

"Awe, dont worry, baby," Dom smiled from the car he was working on. "I ain't leaving."

"Its not that. Shes... strong-willed, to say the least," Mitch shakes his head.

Dom walked over, turning him around and cupping his face. "Do. Not. Worry," he punctuates the words with kissing Mitch's forehead, nose, and cheeks, "You're. All. I. Want."

"Yeah," Mitch blushed. "You too." Dom chuckled and kissed him on the lips.

"Good. Now, get to work."
