With curved eyebrows, Bin cleared his throat as confusion drowned over him after hearing Yejin's statement. He doesn't know what she was exactly talking about.
Captain America? Waiting for me aside from her? What is that? Who is that?
Bin found himself leaning down to her and cupped her face so gently when he saw her tears still dropping on each corner of her eyes.
"Baby, shhh... Don't cry. I really hate to see you crying. Whatever you are trying to say to me, I'm here for you, okay? I won't be gone away from you again. I won't let that happen anymore. I promise." Bin smoothly said, brushing off her tears using his thumbs and landed a quick kiss on her forehead.
Yejin nodded at Bin and tried giving him an affiliative smile on her lips. "I know you're embarrassed with the costume, but I assure you, this will be all worth it, babe. You didn't know how much I've waited for this to happen."
Bin looked down in the middle of the full-body costume he's wearing and a silly chuckle arose from his mouth while shaking his head. "Damn! Never have I imagined my bird will be covered with a funny costume like this." He gazes up at her, showing a flirty smirked trying to lift up her mood. "Look at me down there, baby. It's already angry... You better prepare yourself and make sure to make it up for me later."
"Gosh! Can you stop being a pervert? I'm serious, babe." She laughed, making her cries earlier totally went off and landed him a light slap on his chest.
After their giggles died down, Yejin seriously glanced at Bin and bites her lower lip, trying to push her nervousness back down inside. "There's a lot of things I wanted to tell you, Bin. Many things happened for the past four years we weren't together." She paused for a moment before continuing... "I know I should've told you this when we were still in LA, but I need us to come back here in Korea first and start everything what we've left from here."
"Okay, baby. I understand, okay? Enough of that worried voice of yours... You're making me too nervous, do you know that?" Bin asserted and patted a quick kiss on her forehead again.
After a moment she finally calms down, Yejin gently drags Bin's hand going to the empty hallway of that colorful building. Though Bin was still skeptical and unsure of Yejin's words, he followed beside her steps.
They were about to turn to the last corner in the hallway when they bumped into a woman with an anxious expression. She's quite shaking with subtle sweats visible on her temple. That woman in her mid-thirties looked very unfamiliar to Bin.
"Oh my god... Oh my god, Ms Son!" The woman frantically breathed to Yejin. One of her hands reached Yejin's sidearm and the other one to her own forehead. The woman tried to catch her own breathing.
"Sonsaengnim... Are you okay?" Yejin scanned Ji Ppyong's school teacher's face, and she instantly felt uneasy. Something isn't right with the teacher's expression. She and Bin averted their attention behind the teacher when they saw two men worriedly running toward where they stood. "S-sonsaengnim... What's going on?"
One of the two men arrived in front of them. "Jang Sonsaengnim, we already checked all the classrooms and the school building, but we can't still find your student."
"Wait!" Yejin shockingly exclaimed. She looks back to her son's teacher, getting more anxious. They can now hear the voices of the children crying around the building and it only made Yejin getting more nervous. "Please tell me what's going on, Sonsaengnim!" This time, her voice pitched.
Bin got more confused but he immediately secured Yejin's shoulders around his arm, following a soft rub to her sidearm. "Yej... Calm down..."
