A/N- Hey guys, I'm so sorry it's been so long since I last updated this story. Fecently with my upcoming exams/mocks, my mental health has been really low and my anxiety is really high. I think that my posting schedule should be back to normal now.
'Mum!' I yelled down the stairs. 'Can I talk to you and Jade about something?' I ran downstairs and walked in on them making out. As soon as they saw me, they pulled away from eachother and acted as if nothing had happened. 'I'm just gonna ignore what I just witnessed, okay? Anyways, since I was in an adoption home and now you two are considering it, I have done a lot of research on babies and toddlers in my old adoption home that I was close with and made a powerpoint for it.' I said and showed them my powerpoint presentation. They were both very imperessed that I had even put any thought into it. I told them about my relationship with each of them and how close I was with them. I didn't tell them this but I always had a soft spot for Addie. She was currently doing mini gymnastics and, for a two year old, she's really good. I used to spend my saturday evenings braiding her hair into two french plaits and then we would have a movie night in my room. She's the person I missed most out of everyone there. We do have about a 12 year age gap but we get along like we're twins.

'Eira?' Addie screamed as soon as she saw me. She ran up to me and jumped into my arms; we were both crying at that point. Jade and my mum were just standing at the side watching this all go on, and when I went to put her down to talk to them privately she would cry everytime so eventually I just carried her over to them. 'See, I told you she was adorable.' I laughed. Mum and Jade agreed and kept staring at her. Addie really wanted to play but she didn't want to walk or go without me so I just ended up carrying her there.
'You have to roll your sleeves up for this one.' She really wanted to paint and Michelle said it was okay, so I agreed. I all of a sudden got nervous and told Addie that I would just watch. Truth was that I had relapsed. Everything in the past four months, the fame, the constant pressure to be perfect, the random people on social media always having something to say, had really been getting to me and I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't want to tell anyone because I didn't want to be a burden or be seen as weak. I couldn't show a two year old becaue they have absolutley no filter whatsoever. So, I was stuck with this situation: get help and just stress out my mums even more; or let my parents get on with their life and take care of it myself. I would much rather choose option number 2.
During painting, Addie got very messy so I gave her a bath and got her into some clean clothes that I had bought her the day before as a little present. It matched with the colours of my outfit, which was a pair of light blue jeans and a baby pink top tucked into it. I got her light blue dungarees and a baby pink top to go with it. From her reaction, it was clear she loved it. I took her downstairs afterwards and my mums were filling out the paperwork needed to adopt Addie. We had already done the home check and everything was fine, so once they had signed this we could officially take Addie home with us.
