Chapter 1: Briefing

Obi- Wan's POV:
I'm sitting in the Council Chambers waiting for Anakin and Ahsoka to arrive, "Mmm, late again, they are." Master Yoda says. I'm about to respond but the doors open and Ahsoka and Anakin enter. They stand in the center, "We got held up in training." Ahsoka politely explains and Anakin speaks up, "Got a mission for us." Master Yoda nods, "Indeed, To Alderaan you and your padawan will go. A child to find." I speak up, "I will be accompanying you." Ahsoka then speaks, "Do we have information on this child?" Master Windu nods, "We don't know much, but we know the child is a female, below age 10, and has strange abilities not connected to the force. We also know she is human." Master Ti then says, "It will be a rescue mission, once you have the child you must return to the temple. We have intel saying the child was spotted in a warehouse in the city of Aldera." I nod. The three of us are dismissed and we go to the ship and take off, "How are we gonna find her?" Anakin whines. I roll my eyes, "We go to the warehouse, look for clues." I activate Hyperspace and put it on auto pilot, "We also have to be gentle, who knows what this child has been through. We don't want startle her especially if she has abilities that are not connected to the force." I explain and Ahsoka nods.
Ahsoka's POV:
We land in Alderaan and leave the ship for R2 to watch over, "Keep a low profile." Anakin says and I nod and put on my cloak and hood. We get to the warehouse and enter, "It's spacious for sure." Obi- Wan says. I lower my hood, "I'm going to look around." I say and force jump to the rafters. I walk for a bit and see some movement behind some boxes, "Hello?" I ask and approach the boxes. I look and see a little girl in a black shirt with some red pants and black boots against the wall cradling a blanket and her long brown hair covering her face, "Hi, I'm Ahsoka.. what's your name?" I stop walking towards her and just crouch a few meters away from her. The girl lifts her head up showing her green eyes and murmurs, "Wanda.." I nod and then ask, "What are you doing up here? Where's your mommy and daddy?" The girl looks saddened by my last question, "The red sword took them away.." I have one guess who that was. I notice the blanket moving, " What do you have there?" I ask. Wanda looks at me and moves a part of the blanket showing a baby with pink skin, completely green eyes, and some markings, "My sister, Clarice.." Wanda says. I see Obi- Wan start walking towards me but I signal him not to and to give me a minute. I turn back to the girl and see she's put the blanket back where it was, "How old are you?" I ask worriedly. Wanda makes 7 with her fingers and my heart sinks a bit, "Do you want to come with me..?" Wanda looks at me and is about to respond when Anakin comes over, "Ahsoka what did y-" he didn't get to finish when Wanda made red energy with her hands and hits Anakin with it. Wanda then jumps into a hole in the wall while cradling her sister, "ANAKIN!!" Obi- wan yells and I look back towards the hole and try to figure where Wanda went. I start to yell into the hole instead of chasing her, "Wanda, Anakin isn't going to hurt you, he's one of my friends! Anakin is helping me bring you to a safer place as well as my other friend Obi- Wan!" Wanda doesn't respond. I look at Obi- wan, "I'm going to go in!" I yell to him and he nods, "Be careful!" I hop into the hole and follow the footsteps in the dust. I find Wanda in a crawl space trying to rock her sister, "Hey, I'm sorry if my friend, Anakin scared you. We're here to bring you to a safer place." Wanda looks at me, "Your not scared of me..?" Wanda asks confused. I smile and shake my head, "No, I can do stuff too." I use the force to move a little piece of scrap metal, "Jedi??" Wanda asks and I nod. Wanda slowly approaches me, "Mama said Jedi were good." I nod, "We have swords as well but we use them for good." I get my smaller lightsaber and activate it and she looks at it, "I thank you for finding her for me." I hear a familiar voice say. I signal for Wanda to be quiet and I shut off my lightsaber and look through a crack in the wall and see Dooku. Wanda comes and latches onto my side, "Red sword.." she whispers. I put her behind me and continue watching the scene. I put my hands on my lightsabers, "Tano, where is she?" I hear Dooku ask and I unhook one of my lightsabers from my belt. I'm grabbed my the neck and thrown through the wall, "I believe my apprentice has found her." Dooku states. I hit the wall and Wanda runs to me while holding her sister to her chest. I put Wanda behind some boxes and rejoin Obi- Wan and Anakin, "I have a solution, give us the child and you can escape with your lives." Dooku offers and I roll my eyes, "Screw you." I say and Dooku makes a scowl, "Very well then." Dooku activates his lightsaber and we activate ours. I hear a grunt from behind me and I turn my head to see Ventress suspended in the air surrounded by red mist; Wanda's hand open and surrounded in the same mist. Wanda flicks her hand quickly and Ventress is launched through the roof leaving dust to hit the floor. Wanda then lowers her hand and the mist disappears. Wanda then picks up her sister from where she put her down, "That was quite extraordinary, however Lord Sidious wants the girl dead. Her parents already died for her, as well as her twin brother." Wanda snaps her head towards Dooku and opens her hand towards him as well and he is surrounded by her mist. Dooku is then thrown against the wall to the other wall to the roof to the floor until he's thrown through the hole Ventress made in the roof. Wanda lowers her hand. I smile and she gets off the box with her sister. Wanda comes to the side of me and the five of us head back towards the ship, after a bit Wanda began dragging behind so I give Clarice to Obi- Wan and I pick up Wanda and she falls asleep soon after. We get to the ship and I lay Wanda on one of the beds in the back then I go to the cockpit after taking Clarice from Obi- Wan so he could pilot the ship, "How old did she say she was?" Anakin asks. I sigh, "7 she said she was 7." I see the concern/ heartbreak on their faces. Obi- Wan then says, "She trusts you Ahsoka.. I think it's best if she stayed with you during her time at the temple." I nod and lean back on my chair as we enter Hyperspace.
