Chapter 18: Party like it’s Owen house pt2

ARI POV:

I couldn’t stop thinking about what Sebastian said to me. Maybe he was just messing with me but what motive would he have to. This just wasn’t making sense. None of it was but I wasn’t going to let it get in my head. More like Skylar wouldn’t but I didn’t tell her because knowing her dramatic self would have moved asap.

“Yayyyy, we're here” She said, clapping her hands. 

We both got out of the car and I wasn’t surprised by the view in front of me. Owen was just like Skylar except a little less rich because he decided to buy a mansion with 16 bedrooms even though he lives alone which I thought was weird but that’s none of my business. 

“Why are we here again?” I asked as we approached the door. “To go grocery shopping” she smiled. “Really funny” I rolled my eyes. “What you asked a dumb question so I gave you a dumb question” she said. “But to answer your question, here to have fun plus when was the last time you went to a party or a club event” she said crossing her arms.

“Well the last time I went to a club I got into a fight with you know who's ex Rosie and the last party I went to I almost went to jail because some random guy thought he had the right to touch me” I said crossing my arms. “Okay and that was in the past, live in the future” she said, pinching my cheeks. “I’m sorry if I’m cautious I just have a bad history with parties and I know for a fact that something is going to happen tonight” I said, feeling my heart rate beginning to rise. “Well “if” or “when” something happens I'll be right here” she tells me before opening the door.

We both stepped into the house. The place was dark but not too dark that you couldn’t see since there were led lights all over the place. The place was beautiful but I wasn’t surprised since he was rich. 

“I’m going to use the bathroom to meet me by that bar over there,” Skylar said. “Okay” I said, about to walk over there before she pulled me back. “Do you have your taser?” she asked.  I nod. “Just making sure just in case a psycho tries it when I’m not there” she said.

I watched her go upstairs before going to the bar. I sat there waiting for Skylar to come back. 

“Hey”

I turned around to see a face I thought I would never see again. I was shocked to see who was standing in front of me.

“Long time no see Ari”

I could feel every ounce of hatred in my soul fill up my blood. I could feel my body beginning to get hot and my head feeling like it was about to explode.

“Can I have everyone's attention please” I heard a voice say behind me. 

I turned around to see Owen on top of a small set up stage. He was dressed in a tux which was weird since it wasn’t a costume party. 

“I want you all to give a warm welcome to a group of my closest friends and tonight they will perform a brand new song of there’s” He continues.
