Chapter 20: Cal in California

ARI POV:

I couldn't stay down here much longer. I had to go find Skylar. Or I could just leave but that wouldn't be me being a good friend. It would be selfish of me to do something like that since she invited me here and wanted me to be here. We had finally had a night out and I didn't want to ruin that. But at the same time we could have a night out somewhere else.

"Give them a minute so they can set up," Owen said, causing everyone to begin clapping and shouting with excitement.

I grabbed my bag and began looking for the stairs where I saw Skylar go up when we got here. I was about to walk when I felt a slight tug on my wrist. I turned around forgetting she was here in the first place.

I snatched my hand out of her grasp and continued walking until she somehow found a way to get in front of me.

"Can we please talk?" She said, while I tried to get around her but continued to fail due to the hundreds of bodies all closed up together.

"Why do you think I want to talk to you?" I crossed my arms. "Because you need to let me explain," she continued. "I don't need you or you to explain anything to Callie," I said sternly. "Can we please talk" she con

"Matter of fact since you want to talk let's talk about how you stab me in the back. Let's talk about how you broke the girl code. Let's talk about how you used my life story to write some stupid book. Let's talk about how you're so selfish. Let's talk about how you're a traitor to the entire female body" I continued.

I watched her stand there in shock like she didn't know exactly what she did. See if she owned up to her mistakes I would forgive her but we wouldn't be friends because I don't trust her. But this is different; she continues to lie and screw people over. The whole time I thought she was trying to help me but the whole time she was just using me. Like what friend/best friend does that.

"Now I'm going to say this one time and one time only," I said, stepping closer to her. "GET THE HELL OUT MY WAY" I said, causing her to move instantly.

I needed to get out of here. This place was starting to make me feel weird because of the amount of people I have seen here. I then continued to walk until I found a staircase that I saw her go up.
