(monday, school lunch time.)

"ahh i'm hungry." seungmin said as his stomach growled a little. it was now lunch and seungmin forgot to eat breakfast today so he was pretty hungry.

"princess.. why did you forget to eat breakfast then?" hyunjin said with a slightly stern voice.

"i don't know, sorry..." seungmin said feeling a little guilty. hyunjin smiled as they walked throughout the hallway, tightening his grip on seungmin's hand.

"oh, no need to apologize. i'll buy you food now." hyunjin said while smiling. seungmin felt happy and content now knowing that hyunjin wasn't annoyed by him.

as they walked through school, people were still not used to them being a couple. but some were supportive and even complimented seungmin more. and there were two girls that became friends with seungmin.

"seungmin!" a girl called.

seungmin and hyunjin both turned around spotting two beautiful girls approaching them. choi lia and shin ryujin.

seungmin smiled instantly and waved he let go of hyunjin's hand and went to hug both of them. hyunjin was left frozen, he looked at seungmin and the two girls. he then looked at his hands, the cold feeling from seungmin leaving his hands.

seungmin never let go so this was new. hyunjin was feeling a little jealous. now he was confused, he was jealous of two girls. seungmin was well, gay.

"jinnie! here come meet them!" seungmin said, hyunjin walked over to them with a smile.

"hey, nice to meet you, i'm hyunjin seungmin's boyfriend." hyunjin said while giving an attractive smile. lia smiled at hyunjin's gesture giving him an adorable smile and her eyes were smiling too.

"hi! i'm lia, choi lia, and this is my best friend ryujin, shin ryujin." lia said while smiling, ryujin then smirked a little while gesturing her head.

seungmin then grabbed hyunjin's and lia's arm so they can go to lunch together. hyunjin sat next to seungmin as he grabbed both of their lunch. ryujin and lia sat in front of them.

throughout lunch hyunjin was quiet while seungmin and the two girls were laughing and talking. in the middle of them talking seungmin averted his attention to hyunjin, he noticed quiet hyunjin was being and how he would glare at the girls when they weren't noticing.

he rested his head on hyunjin shoulder and hyunjin just turned to seungmin for a second and went back to eating.

"jinnie?"

"yes minnie?"

"what's wrong? you seem different."

"oh nothing, thoughts are just roaming my head right now."

"oh... anything that i can do? also tomorrow is prom are you excited?"

"yes i am because of you."

"good, because im always happy when i'm close to you."

seungmin said as he clinged on to hyunjin's arm. hyunjin felt better and reassured knowing that younger is close to him. he then realised that ryujin and lia was also in their own world looking really close.

"seungmin can i ask you something?"

"yes anything."

"are they... together?" hyunjin whispered.

"no, they're just really really close some do mistake them for dating though."

hyunjin hummed while nodded. seungmin then laid his head on hyunjin's shoulder while pointing at the birds and looking at the sky.

hyunjin looked over and see the bright smile on seungmin's face. it was relieving to see that. he also saw ryujin feeding strawberries to lia as she then giggled at the taste of it.

he chuckled lowly, seeing the two girls. seungmin then let go of hyunjin making hyunjin turn to him. seungmin then smiled at him and pointed to his food, signalling that he wanted to finish it.

when he saw seungmin eating well and communicating with the girls he felt proud. seungmin was happy now. he could talk to other people, he wasn't as lonely anymore. he could see that seungmin had finally saw the light in life.

hyunjin was proud of himself because he did that. he made seungmin happy. he was the one who pushed seungmin through it all.

hyunjin was his bright place.
