It was around 6 in the morning, clearly dark outside with a strong cold breeze blowing the clouds away. I couldn't sleep anymore from the dream I had last night. I didn't want to try to continue it, afraid I might lose it the morning after. Smiling, I walked around in the park, enjoying the starry night, and of course protecting myself from the bitter cold of the beginning winter winds by a fluffed up comfy sports jacket with faux fur lining the hem of the hood. A short sound notified me of a new message on my phone, with chilly fingers, I took out my phone and unlocked it checking the message.
'Where are you?'
It was a message from my boyfriend at home. I figured he wouldn't be awake until another 4 hours or so because he came home from practice at around 3 this morning, so I didn't feel like I needed to tell him I was going for a small walk for a little while for some air, I guess I was wrong. I typed back immediately, not wanting to worry him about my whereabouts.
'At the park. Why?' I hit the send button and slipped my phone back into my jacket pocket and found a bench to rest on and stare up at the stars in the dark sky.
Not even nearly five minutes later I hear loud fast footsteps coming by and looked toward to where it was coming from to see my boyfriend breathless from running before slowing down to a jog and stopping right in front of me to hug me tightly.
"What...are you...doing out here?" He whispered into my hair between breaths, his warmth comforting me immediately as I leaned into his arms.
"Stargazing. I can't sleep." I replied softly, not wanting to disturb the nice quiet surrounding.
"What if you were kidnapped? I was scared to death. Don't ever go out when it's still dark out without me." He mumbled, his voice slightly laced with sleep.
You see, I didn't tell him I was going out because my boyfriend was known for sleeping...everywhere. Especially when he just woke up, he would fall right back into a deep slumber once his mind was at rest.
"Wonshik." I called his name once I heard quiet snores. He's sleeping. I sighed and mumbled, "Guess I have to carry you again."
I looked up at his face and laughed lightly, standing up, I took his arm then slightly crouched down and put it over my shoulders. After ceasing my workout routines, I don't know how much strength I still have left in me anymore. I was too busy with work and less time was spent on working out as more time was spent on business papers. I hauled him up off the bench and huffed out a breath of air. Geez. I definitely needed to get back to working out.
"Wonshik-ah." I whined. Glancing over my shoulder to look at his face I knew there would be no way to wake this idiot up. Only once we were halfway home to our shared apartment I realized his snoring stopped. I looked up at him and blew in his face then continued to poke his face. He wasn't asleep!
Wonshik grinned before opening his eyes, his weight still on me.
"Well, aren't you still strong?" He smiled.
I threw his weight off and pouted slightly, crossing my arms over my chest and walked ahead first, completely ignoring him. He knew I would take a little more to realize a couple things that weren't so obvious to the human eye so he used that advantage against me.
"Aw~ baby, are you mad?" He ran up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, snuggling his face into my hair.
Keeping silent, I gave him the cold shoulder and kept on walking. Acting as if he wasn't there on my shoulder with a pout apologizing repeatedly. By the time the both of us got home, Wonshik was pouting with his head hung low as if the only thing he ever did in his life was hang his head.
"Jagiya~ is there something I can do to make up for tricking you~? Hm~~? I'll do anything~ Promise!" He whined, stomping his feet on the ground.
I walked inside our estate, keeping a straight face to see how far my boyfriend would go to get me to forgive him, actually grinning ear to ear inside.
"Baby~~" he began to whine with his low voice, his arms wrapping around my waist after shutting the door behind him and slipping off his shoes.
"What." I replied coldly, I didn't mean to sound so cold that when it slipped from my lips I was shocked at myself.
"Are you really mad...?" Wonshik walked around to stand in front of me and ducked his head to see my facial expression.
I couldn't help from smiling and the corners of my lips tugged up, forming a grin.
"Yah~!" Ravi's eyes widened, "You're not mad at all!" He poked my cheeks, "I thought you were actually angry at me... Meanie."
I giggled, "I was a little angry at first. But I also enjoyed having you beg for my forgiveness."
"Well," he pulled my waist closer to him, "let's see who'll be begging for who tonight." He winked, pulling the both of us to our shared bedroom.
