It was as if my dreams had finally come true. As cheesy as it sounds, I knew things were going to change for the better ever since my relationship with Park Chanyeol became public. And you know what? It sure did. Sure, we had a lot of anti fans, but after a few months those anti fans must have became aware of how strong the love between Chanyeol and I was and I guess they gave up.
After 3 years of dating, we were now happily getting married. Chanyeol and I. We had announced our hidden relationship in our 2nd anniversary of sticking together through thick and thin. Of course when we had first announced our relationship, we were greeted with hatred by so many globally. Yet after some time, we began to gain more love by international fans from places such as Europe, America and Australia. Many of the hate we recieved were coming from Asia, the amount of it decreased slowly, but it was still there nonetheless.
On our 4th year anniversary, we went out for dinner at a very pricy and high class restaurant and what I couldn't imagine, happened.
After our meals, Chanyeol had slyly slipped a ring into the dessert I ate by the help of the kitchen staff. Only to have me bite into soft metal and spit out the slightly melted ring into napkin before bursting into a small fit of giggles. Luckily, the ring was simply designed with carvings into them in replacement of diamonds and all.
I sighed as I remembered how Chanyeol's face dropped when I showed him the melted ring, an adorable pout settling on his kissable plump lips.
"I wanted to propose like in the movies..." He had whined cutely across the table, his feet stomping underneath his chair like a child.
Our table waitor bowed and apologized for the incident on repeat, afraid of upsetting us. I had to reassure the waitor that it was alright, that the rig melting in the cake was an accidental mistake caused by, not the chefs, but by the oven. Even after the ring had been melted into the cake, Chanyeol still bent down on one knee, a nervous smile plastered on his face.
My life had entirely changed ever since I agreed to be his wife that night. And it just keeps getting better.
Here I am now, changed into my after party dress after walking to the altar to my newly wedded husband and saying our 'I Do's. This was, by far, one of the best days of my life, and so far, none of our fans or anti fans have crashed the wedding. Chanyeol and I had invited all of our family and friends to our wedding event today. I was in a silky pink dress that came up to my knees with a pair of heels Chanyeol had personally helped me pick out to add a little height to myself against his strong tall figure.
I now sat on a stool in the dressing room, stuck in my thoughts while gazing at myself in the mirror hung in front of me.
"Minrin~" Chanyeol had wrapped his arms around my waist and snuggled into my neck with a soft grin, "what are you thinking about?"
"The day when you proposed to me," I paused, giggling when the memory of the melted ring popped in my head, "it was on our 4th year anniversary. That and today are my best days ever."
He smiles, "Well I have a gift for you tonight. Right after the party."
"Really?" I asked, watching him nod through the mirror, "Then I guess I absolutely can't wait." I grinned.
"Good, now there's the smile I've been looking for." He coos, poking at my cheek and helping me stand up, "Let's go now."
Nodding, I hooked my arm around his arm and left the dressing room to meet and chat with our friends and family that attended our wedding.
Halfway through the party, Chanyeol's close friends and band mates stood up and had each said their blessings to us. As those with a lover came up, Chanyeol and I too wished them the best of luck in their future relationship together before bowing and thanking them.
