Sae's POV

Another year to celebrate my parents' death. It was on the exact day of the celebration of the new year. People around me had families to celebrate New Years with them. I'm not poor though, even after my parents' death, since they had passed down their money to me. I went to a flower shop that was strangely always open during the cold holidays, the girl that works there remembers me and always seem to have two bouquets of white roses for me. I'm her regular customer every New Years, even though I don't know her much, she seems to know how I feel after I told her why I kept coming back every New Year for bouquets of white roses.

It was about nine at night as I walked into the flower shop, I was welcomed by the smell of flowers, plastic and real, all lined up every wall, isle, and even the lights were in the shape of delicate roses hanging from the ceilings.

Walking towards to the front desk, which is surprisingly in the back of the store, I asked the very same girl for my usual two bouquets. Once I'd receive them, just before I could pull out the money for the flowers, the cashier told me that the roses were free. Smiling kindly at her, I wished her a 'Happy New Year' and left the store and headed for the cemetery. Where my parents are buried.

Walking slowly with the flowers in my hands, I brought them up to my nose and sniffed them. A wide smile spread across my face as I hid myself behind the roses and my scarf. When passing by a small and cozy looking Ramen restaurant, I felt many gazes falling upon me. Finally reaching the crossing lane for walkers, I elbowed the button to cross the other side of the street, too tired to lift my hand and press the button.

As soon as I was on the other side of the street, I happily walked into the cemetery, I was happy and wanted to wish my parents a good New Years as well.

When reaching my parents grave, I smiled. They had tried to do everything for me so that I could have the best family ever.

"Happy New Years, mom and dad." Tears started to brim my eyes.

Chanyeol's POV

All 12 of us were eating at a small and cozy Ramen restaurant that happen to be open on New Years day. It had seemed that the family that owned the restaurant were celebrating the New Years here and we just were very lucky to have stumbled in it.

Joking around and eating the ramen, we stopped short when we saw the most beautiful girl walk right across in front of us. She had brown hair that reached just reached about two inches below her shoulders, adding a red beanie to her head. She wore a nude color coat along with white leather gloves. She also had brown leather ankle boots to go along with her outfit. Along this, she held two bouquets of white roses.

With dropped jaws, we watched the girl stand, waiting patiently at the crossing sign and walked to the other side when it was safe. Strange, she walked right into the cemetery.

Why a cemetery?

Anyway, Kris was the first to tear his eyes off the petite girl and cleared his throat.

We all turned away, looked at our food, at each other, over again and again. The awkward silence filled the atmosphere around us. The Ramen smell was no longer a comfort anymore.

My wolf instincts kicked in, suddenly, I stood up and in a blink of an eye, I was already running across the streets. Ignoring my bandmates curious stares and calls.

Sae's POV

I turned to leave when I heard sniffing coming from behind me. I spun around to where the sound came from and spotted a tall and handsome guy kneeling at a grave, crying his eyes out. He wore Nike's sneakers, dark blue jeans, skin colored coat that reached his knees and a scarf covering the bottom part of his face.

Slowly, I patted his back softly.

"You okay?" I whispered when his cries softened up.

He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand and gave a long, heavy sigh before standing up and answering me, "Yeah, thanks."

"No problem." I answered, looking down at my shoes, I turned around to leave but I was stopped by a hand holding on to my wrist.

"I'm Chanyeol, and you are?" The guy I comforted earlier introduced himself.

"Sae. I'm Sae." I spun around and looked up at Chanyeol, locking eye contact.

"May I ask, who are you here for?" Chanyeol rubbed the back of his neck and sheepishly smiled.

"My mother and father. You?"

"Heh... No one in particular." He looked down, noting his bottom lip.

"No one in particular huh?" I teased him as I took a step closer to him, "Was it me?"

After the question was asked, he blushed about more than a hundred different shades of pink and red, and his eyes widen.

The smiled softly as I stepped back, "I was just teasing. Anyway, Happy New Year!"

"Happy New Year to you too! Hey, umm... Let's get some coffee?" He made a walking gesture in one place towards a comfy looking restaurant. "Or some ramen?"

I looked back at the comfy restaurant, laughing I realized it was the ramen restaurant I had walked past earlier that had many gazes in me.

"Sure, after all, you're the first person to get me to really laugh like that in a couple years."

"Really?" He bent down to me.

Suddenly, butterflies erupted in my stomach, as I looked down. Blushing, I looked down, nodding.

He leaned back and hooked his arm around my shoulder.

"Well then, you're going to get more of that for the upcoming years of your life. I know it's fast, but if you're willing to accept me, I am forever willing to be your happy virus forever." His fingers reached my chin and tilted my head up until we were making eye contact.

He closed his eyes as he hesitantly leaned in. My body automatically reacted, my eyes closed, reaching up on my tippy toes, I leaned in too.

In seconds, out lips met and I swear I could have heard fireworks in the distance. When we parted, as if on cue, fireworks really started to blast in the dark night sky. Our foreheads rested on each other's as he slid his arms around my waist and mine wrapped around his neck. We smiled at each other and looked at the fireworks.

"Happy virus... My happy virus." I whispered, smiling.

He hesitated for moment, then leaned in, pecking my nose.

As cheesy as it sounds, like, literally, I know that this day was going to change me and my life forever. This guy in front of me is what made it change.
