Dear Diary,
They were still here when I got home from work. I was polite and civil with him, apparently his name is Paul and he is studying to be a pediatric doctor just like Sarah, but now once could I bring myself to meet his eyes. Sarah made me promise to go to the mall with her tomorrow while Paul is visiting family a few towns over so at least I won’t have to worry about seeing him. I just hope she doesn’t ask too many questions when we’re alone.
