Dear Diary,
For the first time in years I went to church. I stopped going to church when I was fifteen and my parents let me decide whether or not I would keep going. Maybe that’s why things got so bad when they did; God was punishing me for straying from his path. The timeline would make sense. So I went to church today and it was just as unsettling as I remembered but I sat through it silently from beginning to end. Hopefully now things would get better and God would stop punishing me. I would go to church every Sunday if it meant the pain would stop.
