Chapter twenty three

MIA

It is strange how people change, they can be stranger in a heart beat. These people i would love to have them out of my life. Their are moody, like if they are happy it will rain candy, but if they are sad or angry they turn into a thunderstorm.

Mama tia was telling me about her friends that she had a belief that they are her family because after all these years together how can they turn against each other. Shocking right, they left here at the same time her son left, she needed them, and the abandoned her, why because she raised her son wrong.

Yes Jason wasn't an angel, but mama tia didn't deserve this from the ones she calls family.

Jason left and she was devastated she turned into someone sad, while she was the only cheerful thing in this house, the caring mom, the strict father, the loving grandparents. Everything went with Jason and he left a sad weak woman.

I wish i came earlier so we could help each other, maybe if I wasn't hard on myself i would have helped her.

She needed someone even hace needed someone, he lost his little brother who was his every thing i of all people know how much they loved each other, people would think they were twins.

Little they know that this family is now broken. Hardly any one visit them anymore, they don't even go out. Jace moved out with a friend of his, mama tia is all alone.

A knock on the door cut my thoughts, "mimi can you answer please" tia said withe her Spanish accent she still have a bad English.

I opened the door revealing a bigger version of Jason, tears welled in my eyes threatening to go down and never stop.

"Mimi i missed you" jace said with a weak voice as he gave me a bear hug, I started crying in his arms wishing i could stop so I won't hurt them more than they already are.

"Hey, hey take a deep breath.." jace said as he patted my back, "breath in and out in and out.." jace said as we sat on the couch.

"Hi jacy" i said smiling at the memory of his nick name. They were my brothers always, Macy and jacy.

"Oh god you didn't forget it didn't you" he said face palming him self, i shock my head smiling with tears still going down my face. "Is mason still macy?" He asked, "of course" i said laughing now.

I wish i could take back the time and do everything without being reckless.

"Can i request something from you?" I asked jace, "yeah anything" he said looking at me, "can you stay with tia, she needs you more than anything", he looked down as i said these words, "i will I promise, i was thinking about moving back but i though she wanted space for herself" i was more than happy to hear him agree, "no she is broken and she needs you right now" he nodded.

"Did you forget you have a mom to come and see her or did mimi make you blinded by the whole world around you?" Tia came scolding her son. "No, no mamá, estaba viniendo a ti" jace went to his mom and hugged her, "i missed you" he whispered to her.
(Translation: no mom i was just coming to you)

"I missed you more honey i wish you could never leave" tia said, well the last part was more than a whisper, "lets go kids dinner is ready"..., Yum i missed tia's cooking and her Spanish food.

We were eating in silence and i was on the edge of moaning from the aroma and the taste of the food.

"So mom i was thinking of moving back here if you want" tia's eyes sparkled and she put her hands on her sons' "honey this is the second best thing happened today", "oh, and what is the first" he asked her mom in a challenging way. "Mimi's visit" tia said looking at me, "well you are right it is definitely better than what i said but i really meen that i will stay here again I don't want to leave you plus what would i do without you?" Jace said looking at his mom with a smile on his face.

Dinner was more than amazing jace was staying the night and I didn't want to leave so i called mason and told him i am staying.
