Winter Ranger (Book 1)

2 - Eye of the Storm

I was surfing with Tori while Zoey was with Kelly. Hunter, Blake, and Dustin were at the track, Cam in Ninja Ops, and Shane was with his brother.

"Your amazing at surfing Tori." I complimented as she came back in.

"Yeah, thanks. Your good too." Tori smiles. Then our morphers beep.

"Yeah Cam?" Tori asks.

"Tori, Layla. We need you at xxxxx." Cam requests.

"We're on our way." Me and Tori drove off towards the location.

"Ninja Storm" Tori began.

"Winter Storm" I began.

"Ranger Form! Ha!" We end in unison as we morph.

"Power of Water!" Tori poses.

"Power of Winter!" I posed. We then helped out our friends.

"Where's Shane?" I ask as I was knocked back again by the monster.

"He hasn't answered yet." Cam responds as he went flying.

"Keep trying. We need him now!" I say, charging at the monster. After fighting for a bit, Shane eventually arrives.

"Glad you can join the party, Shane." Cam states.

"Ninja Storm, Ranger Form. Ha!" Shane morphs, unaware to us that Shane's brother was watching. "You want to play it rough? Battlizer, Flight Mode! Full Power! Laser Engaged! Alright." Shane finishes off the monster for us.

"Thanks for the save dude." Dustin says as we walk up to him as we all demorph.

"Yeah, yeah. No problem." Shane grins at us. "We are a team after all. I'd always got your backs." We all then went our separate ways. Cam heading back to Ninja Ops, Dustin, Blake, and Hunter back to the track, Shane went to get his bag before leaving, Tori went back to the beach, and I went to Storm Chargers to spend some time with Zoey.

"Hey Zoey, did you have fun with Kelly?" I ask as we went out to eat for lunch.

"Yeah! I love helping Auntie KelKel with her shop!" Zoey says excitedly.

"Well, what do you want for lunch?"

"Hmmm... Fwries?" She asks with puppy dog eyes making me sigh with a fond smile.

"Alright, we can get McDonalds." I give in.

"Yay!" She cheers. After lunch, Zoey wanted to spend more time with Kelly for some reason, so we headed back to storm chargers. As I dropped her off, my morpher beeped.

"Bye Zoey love you. Bye Kelly and thanks again."

"Bye mommy!"

"Bye Lay and no problem." I quickly leave as I answer my morpher.

"What's up, Cam?" I ask.

"Lay, we need your help. The monster got Tori, Shane, and Dustin to see their worst fears." Cam hurriedly explains.

"Alright, I'm on my way." I say, looking around making sure no one was around before morphing. "Winter Storm, Ranger Form! Ha!" I then Ninja Streaked to my friend's location. When I arrived, I saw Tori, Dustin, and Shane on the ground with their hands on their head. "Hang on guys! Winter Katanas!" I call out as I took out my Katanas from my back. "Winter Rapid Slash!" I started to rapidly slash at the monster, leaving behind a bit of snowflakes in my wake as I slashed at the monster. Tori, Dustin, and Shane managed to overcome their fears with the help of Sensei, and we defeated the monster before having to go into our zords.

"Cam." Shane instructs.

"On it." Cam replies without needing any further instruction from Shane as they know what to do. Even Cam got me my Zord so I could join them in battle when the Zords were going to be needed.

"Let's finish this!" Shane says, already over this guy. Then Tori, Dustin, and Shane started to struggle a bit again because they still have the collars on from the monster.

"Initiate Hurricane Megazord." Cam, Shane, Hunter, and I say. All of our Zords, all 7 of them, combined into one Megazord, the Hurricane Megazord. We then launched the final attack on the monster and destroyed him. The collars disappeared from Shane, Tori, and Dustin and they were free from seeing their worst fears alongside everyone else who had the collar.
