3 - Storm before the Calm Part 1

I had this bad feeling when I woke this morning. I knew that any day now, Lothor would launch his final attack. It's been a year since Tori, Dustin, and Shane became rangers, meaning that he should launch his final attack any day now. 

"Morning mama!" Zoey says as she walks into the kitchen this morning after waking up.

"Morning sweet pea. Breakfast is ready. I have work again today and Kelly won't be able to look after you so you'll be getting a babysitter." I informed my daughter as I sat her at the dining table in our apartment and gave her breakfast.

"Aw, okie." After breakfast, the babysitter arrived, and I made sure everything was situated before leaving for Storm Chargers.

"Hey Lay! Guess what?" Dustin asks excitedly?

"Hm? What?" I ask, curious of what got him so excited.

"I can do Freestyle for the next Action games!" Dustin exclaims.

"Right on Dustin! You'll do great in freestyling." I say as I sat on the couch with everyone else (minus Cam).

"We're all participating in the Action Games. What about you Lay?" Tori asks.

"Oh, you guys don't know? Of course I'm participating. They've decided to add in Mountain Biking so I'm doing that this year." I say with a grin.

"Awesome!" We started to chat about the Action Games while the boys (Dustin, Blake, Hunter) did their work.

"Hey wait a minute. Did anyone ask Sensei?" Tori asks. 

"Not me." Shane says.

"I was meaning to but didn't have the time. I've been busy getting ready for the Action Games." I comment.

"Not us either." Blake and Hunter say. We all head to Ninja Ops to tell Sensei. He gave us the go ahead so we now arrived at the Action Games.

Zoey's POV

"Ms. Rivera? Can we go to the Action Games? Mama is going to be vere and I wanna see mama win!" I ask my babysitter.

"Of course, Zoey, dear. They're starting soon so we better hurry if we want to make it on time to see your mama." 

"Yay!" I cheered as we got ready and left.

Layla's POV

We all cheered as we all got out of Tori's van with huge grins. We're pumped for this.

"You guys check in. I'll make sure you gear is good to go." Kelly says.

"Yeah, let's go! Whoo!" Hunter says as we all run in and checked in. We all split off into groups, I went with Tori as we checked out the place.

"Uh, Lay? I think we got some uninvited guests." Tori informs me and I look in her direction and saw Kapri and Marah. We got into fighting stances as we also saw our friends coming to help. The Kelzacks attacked and we retaliated by fighting back. 3 people came to help us. Though, it was more of hinderance since we couldn't morph in front of them. Soon enough, the Kelzacks disappeared. Cam's amulet became frozen, so he headed back to Ninja Ops to do some testing.

"I have a bad feeling about this." I say to no one.

"Why?" Dustin asks as we walked back to the parking lot.

"I mean think about. Why would Kapri and Marah be here? And to just leave right after? It just doesn't make any sense unless Lothor is planning something big. Like really big." I explain.

"Your right Lay." Shane agrees. 

"Yeah, but we can't do anything more but wait for now." Hunter says with a small sigh. We were now watching some skateboarders before Cam contacted us. Shane nods at us and we left.

"Where are you guys going?" Kelly asks.

"Uh Bathroom." Dustin answers. That was really bad lie Dustin.

"All of you?" Kelly asks.

"Don't worry, we'll be back." Shane says as we run off towards where we have to fight a big fish. When we made it to a spot where no one could see us morph, we got into position.

"Ready?" Shane asks.

"Ready." We all reply.

"Ninja Storm," Tori, Dustin, and Shane began.

"Thunderstorm," Hunter and Blake followed.

"Winter Storm," I followed behind.

"Ranger form. Ha!" We all ended together as we all morphed. "Ninja Ranger Power!" We all jumped into the cockpits of our own zords and combined into a megazord.

"You guys ready to roll?" Shane asks once our zords combined into one Megazord.

"Yeah!" We all reply. We then started to fight Vexacus. Our Megazord then split off into three megazords. (Like Cam's Zord, my Zord could form its own Megazord) We destroyed Vexacus and then this crater like thing opened up. We couldn't find Hunter and Blake, so we headed back to Ninja Ops to regroup. When we arrived back at Ninja Ops, the place was a total wreck.

"What happened? It's trashed!" Dustin states as we entered.

"Cam? Sensei? Cyber Cam?" Shane yells into the mess that we now call Ninja Ops. "Where are they?" He asks as we walked further into Ninja Ops.

"They've got to be here somewhere." Dustin says.

"They have to be." Tori agrees as we start to search Ninja Ops for any signs of life. "If anyone can survive this, it's Cam and Sensei." I just nod in agreement as we continued looking around the wreck.
