"hehe" you giggled to yourself as you snuck out your window and into the streets of Liyue. You were currently on your way to your closet and brokest friend, zhongli.
turning the corner you noticed there were millieth on patrol, and then remembered about the curfew,
"ah shit" you silently cursed to yourself taking in a deep breath of the Liyue air, and made a run for it. and unlucky for you, your bag made too much noise thay caught the milleiths attention looking behind you, you saw 3 men with white tassels chasing you, yelling at you to halt. But being the mischievous and daring one you are, you ignored them and sprinted faster looking for a place to hide. then you remembered it, a secret bush zhongli showed you for reasons you still dont know to this day near his house picking up the pace, you quickly turned the corner almost falling and jumped into the bush.
the 3 guards run right past you going to the other side of Liyue. so carefully, you stretched out a leg, then an arm, then another leg and arm, then your whole body tiptoeing towards zhonglis window. knocking would be to boring so you threw a rock at his window which certainly got the males attention as he rushed to his window expecting an intruder or just xiao being bored again but, to his surprise, he just saw you with a cheeky smile waving.
he sighed and opened up his window, extending a hand to let you in to which you gladly took and leaped into his window only to fall onto his strong chest "ah, y/n. what brings you here on this fine evening?" the male spoke tender like chicken tenders. giggling, you lifted yourself off him and took your bag off your shoulders,
"well i thought it would be nice to visit my best friend, no?"
zhongli blushed upon hearing he was your best friend, he certainly thought it would be xiao or childe,
"hmmm, i suppose it would be nice to receive a visit from my best friend once in a while" he ended with a smile. your face heated up from him returning the feelings, "hehe, well i plan on sleeping over. is that alright?"
"well of course, you're always welcomed in my abode childe pays for"
you nodded and turned your head before quickly turning it back, "he what now-"
"nothing" you nodded slowly and turned to your bag to take out an item, "here zhongli, its that 500 million mora noctiluctus jade you've always wanted"
he looked surprised but took it, "oh y/n" he could feel his heart flutter and his stomach grow butterflies, "you truly didn't have to" "anything for you zhongli" he chuckled deeply and gave you a few head pats before speaking again "may i ask where you got the mora from?"
"childe"
"what-" he looked at you with a shook face, scared, you quickly came up with an excuse
"I THINK I FORGOT TO TAKE MY WASHING MACHINE OUT FOR A WALK" and with that, you sprinted out his window and heard him running after you before yelling "THIS IS ORDER" with a giant ass geo meteor and him chasing you "ah shit, here we go again"
