"And this one?" Kazuha spoke softly, eyes fixated on the scar, his fingers grazing the long cut on your forearm.

"Ah, that's from Razor. He was hungry and couldn't resist"

Kazuha looked up at you, confusion in his eyes, "Isn't Razor human...?"

"Heh, its a long story"- you scratched the back of your head- "What about that scar on your neck" your fingers traced the faded scar that wrapped around his neck.

Kazuha stopped what he was doing and his eyes met yours. He looked away and a sigh escaped his lips,

You looked up at him, worried

"we don't have to talk about it if you don't want-"

Your breath hitched, you instantly felt bad for asking

"I remember staying with a boy, Gorou, he was simple and nice. He didn't last long though. In the middle of the night we were ambushed, I escaped in time but Gorou didn't and they killed him in front of me."

He stood up, walking down the hill, gesturing you to come with

"I've learnt many from this journey, and I'll learn many more as I continue" Kazuha let out a slight chuckle at the end

You two walked in comfortable silence, holding hands. It was peaceful until,

"aWAHH KAZUHA!" screaming as you latched onto kazhas coat as it began to pour. Lightning had struck down in front of you two

"You poor thing" he spoke, petting your head.

Kazuha thought for moment of a way to cheer you up,

"How about we go for a dance in the rain?" He grabbed hold of your hand and pulled you close

Your head shot up,

"T-THE LIGHTNING?"

Kazuha chuckled and shook his head

"Just keep moving"

And with that you two danced off into the night, soaked, and almost hit by lighting 10 times

He smiled and ruffled your hair
